What's the age limit for B.Ed?
my D.O.B is 25-03-1982. I am 28 years old now, can i fill the form of b.ed

Yes, you can certainly apply for B.Ed. B.Ed courses are offered by a number of
government/private institutes in addition to correspondence and distance education courses. Although the government/private institutes may have age-related clauses added to their admission norms, there is absolutely no age-bar in case of the correspondence and distance education courses. there is no correspondence for any restriction anyhow.
but in jamia millia and jnu ,you cant have any breaks in your b.ed and bachelor degree. you can fill the form of b.ed after passing your graduation. |

there is no age limit to do B.Ed course.so you can complete the course at any age.but generally they apply for the course between the age of 21 to 35 years.so do not worry about the age criteria.just go for the course. All The Best!!!! |

Yes you are eligible for B.Ed.There are no age limit for B.Ed.This exam is conducted by colleges and the syllabus can vary from college to college. Students wanting to join teaching line or in teaching profession sit for B.Ed,now the central Government is thinking to make B.Ed compulsory for to sit for SSC(Staff Selection Commity). i am 1975 born,i hav done ba in english literature {52%} MA in literature 44% and MSW 60% . first am i elegible to apply for Bed agewise ? can i apply on basis of my PG eng marks? or graduation only ? can i pursue Bed through correspondance without 2 years work experience

There is no age limit actually specified for doing B.ed. You may join upto 35 years, since you are 28 you are eligible for it.

If you are interested in B.Ed Then please go through these details below : There are no age limitation for B.Ed degree. B.Ed details : B.Ed. COURSE This is one year Bachelor Of Education Degree Programme in education stream. You can apply for this course after completion of graduation. It is one year programme for regular & two year for correspondence. After completing that you are able to attend TET & CTET. It helps to develop the teacher's competency in order to make the experience of 'teacher-learner' more effective in the secondary stages of school. Apart from this knowledge on school management the course also includes evaluation besides teaching skills B.ED B.Ed Admission Eligibility : The candidates must have passed their Bachelor's Degree Examination in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, BCA, BBA (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/ 10+1+3 pattern), Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory University in India registered with the Association of Indian Universities and has secured at least 40% (39.5% is treated as 40%) of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General Category and pass percentage in case of reserved categories SYLLABUS Syllabus for the following course in B Ed is available at Jammu university .
