Re: How can I join Indian Navy? I am writing 12th exam If you wants to go in the ARMY SECTOR then you should take science streams with maths in 11th std. If you are from ARTS stream then you are not eligible for the NDA entrance exams and hence not eligible to join "ARMY" The subjects which are required for the NDA entrance exams are-->> PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY AND MATHS. and in the ARTS streams there is no such subjects.Hence science stream is very necessary for NDA Only then aftre you can go for the NDA entrance exams conducted for the 12th std students. There are Fields in NDA: 1.Indian Army 2.Indian Airforce 3.Indian Navy Eligibilty criteria for the NDA entrance exams are listed as below--->>> Age :16 ½ to 19 years Nationality:Indian Marital Status: Unmarried Gender:No vaccancy for Girls. Re: How can I join Indian Navy? I am writing 12th exam You can join Indian Navy after 12th through NDA. NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Central/State Board within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness. As you are interested to join Indian Navy of NDA you should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects in 12th in order to be eligible for Indian navy. The notification and regiistration process for NDA-I 2012 exam has already been over, the exam will be held on 15.04.2012. So if you are interested you can apply for NDA-II 2012 exam, the notification will come out in the month of May 2012 followed by exam during August 2012. NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e., NDA I and NDA II. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings: • Indian Air Force • Indian Navy • Indian Army The Eligibility Criteria: ** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university. ** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination. ** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class. ** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no an upper age criteria. ** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit. ** The candidate must be citizen of India. Because the minimum qualification for the indian navy is 12th standard. Indian navy is through the NDA examination. The age limit for the indian navy is 16.5 years to 19 years. All the best |

I am writing 12th exam dear friend, After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Navy.As you are a diploma graduate then you are also very much eligible for Indian Navy.See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply. You can also apply for NDA. There generally two examination are held for NDA, one is NDA-1 and another is NDA-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.
