Re: Can final year students apply for Assistant Commandment exam as General Duty Men in Coast Guard? yes final year student may also apply for Assistant Commandment exam as General Duty Men in Coast Guard but they have to be able to show their original certificate of result at the time of verification of documents. the eligibility criterion to appear in Assistant Commandment exam as General Duty Men in Coast Guard is candidate should have age between 21 to 25 at the time of application for general category candidate. 5 years reservation are available for SC/ST candidate and 3 years for OBC candidate. candidate should have Degree in any discipline with Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme. physical standard required Height 157cms, Weight Proportionate to Height, Eye sight 6/6 & 6/9 without glasses. for more information and for the notification visit the website http://indiancoastguard.nic.in/ best of luck. |

ELIGIBILITY: A.Education Qualification To apply for the post of Assistant Commandant(GD) a candidate should have Degree in any discipline with Mathematics and Physics as subjects upto intermediate. B.Age Limit For the above post candidate age should be between 21-25 years . There is a relaxation in age is given for the reserved category students like SC/ST 5 years and OBC 3 years. C.Physical Standard Minimum Height required 157cms Eye sight 6/6 & 6/9 without glasses OR visit www.upsc.gov all the best........................................ |
