The abbreviation of NDA is National Defense Academy.  Not at all, you are not preferable for National Defense Academy exam. The educational qualifications regarding with National Defense Academy exam are below mentioned:- # Candidates must have finished their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any approved institution. # There is no need of percentage for this exam. # Candidates of last year of 12th standard are also preferable for this exam. # Citizenship:- Must be Indian. Age criteria and relaxation regarding with National Defense Academy exam are below mentioned:- # 16.5-19 years. # Relaxation:- Not assumed. # Candidates must be unmarried male. # Citizenship:- Must be Indian. Re: Am I eligible to answer NDA entrance exam at the aage of 16 years? dear student, it seems as if you are not eligible for writing NDA exam right now for that you have to be 16.5 years of age and it is the most important criteria of eligibilty.there are some factors also such as:- 1->6/6 eyesight. 2->citizen of india. so i suggest you wait for another 6 months and then you can write the exam for NDA.BEST WISHES. |

According to commission Eligiblity for next nda exam: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible. The date of birth accepted by the commission is that entered in the matriculation or secondary school leaving certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University. NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness. The selection is through written exam followed by personal Interview. The notification and registration for NDA-I 2012 exam has already been over. If you are interested you can apply for NDA-II 2012 exam, the notification for which will come out in the month of May 2012 followed by exam during August and at that time you might have crossed the minimum age of 16.5 years. The Age Criteria for NDA II examination is, candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible. So, as your date of birth is 22.11.1995 so you are eligible. And you should pass 12th standard exams. Important dates: - Last date of apply for NDA II examination is 09 May 2011. - Date of entrance examination is 21 Aug 2011. Following is the eligibility of applying for NDA examination- Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination.. age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 years 12th appearing or appeared students are eligible.... Only Maths students are eligible for applying NDA examination.. I think you have not passed this criteria so you are not eligible for applying for NDA examination..As you are now 16 year so your age not completed of 16 half...So sorry to say try next NDA examination But however you are eligible for NDA II examination. Following are details regarding NDA II 2011. Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam. Age Limit: Candidates born between 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible. Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any branch, from a recognized school. For candidates applying for the Air Force or Navy, Physics and Maths is compulsory in 10+2. Candidates appearing for the Higher Secondary exam may also apply. So you are eligible according to the age limits, however, you must also fulfill the educational qualification criteria.
