yes you are eligible as the eligiblity for NDA is

age must be within 16 half to 19 half years!!

and should pass 12 th class exam

and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm


and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by the UPSC. To apply for
this examination a candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
For this year NDA I exam is over but you are eligible to apply for the
NDA II exam for this year.

Beside this you should be 10+2 pass in any discipline. If the candidate is
appeared in the 10+2 examination then also they are eligible to apply for
the NDA examination.

NDA exam, conducted by UPSC, is to recruit candidates in the National Defense Academy.
The candidates must have passed the +2 level of examination from a recognized board of studies.
The eligible age for the Exam is 16 1/2 years.
The maximum age limit fro the exam is 19 years.
For further information, you may refer to the official website of UPSC.

To appear for NDA exam,the candidate should have age between 16 1/2 to 19 years and candidate should have completed 12th standard with maths,atleast physics subjects.

As you don't have sufficient age,you can appear for next year NDA exam.

you are eligible for NDA 2 exam to be conducted later this yr on 21st august 2011.

you are not eligible for the NDA 1 examination which is to be conducted earlier this yr. however as the last date has passed by do not worry.

because you are meeting with the eligibility creteria that is required for nda exams.

because as you age is meeting with the minimum requirement
but your %age is very less that is 49%.......................this is so, so less
as minimum requirement is of 60%.
so you can not apply for it.

If you want to join N.D.A then your age should be In between 16.5-19 year..

After 19 year also you are not eligible for N.D.A..
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year...

Don't worry you are eligible in N.D.A(II), 2012...

eligibility:
12th stands with 55% marks of recognized university
age limit : 16.5 to 19 years

In order to write NDA entrance exam you should have at least 16.5 years.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal Interview.

The notification and registration for NDA-I 2012 exam has already been over. If you are interested you can apply for NDA-II 2012 exam, the notification for which will come out in the month of May 2012 followed by exam during August and at that time you might have crossed the minimum age of 16.5 years.
