Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

Hello friend,

This is a very critical problem faced by many graduates these days...
Here is the recommended solution for it..

Join a REPUTED institution of programming languages and learn

1. core JAVA / Advanced JAVA (highly recommended)
2. DOT net (recommended)
3. Oracle (prefered to opt)

Develop good skills in programming and definitely you will get a good job
with a salary of around 15K PM in any software industry.

Good luck.

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

HY,
see if dont have enough % in b.tech then dont worry...you have options.you can go for mtech and get good marks in mtech degree course..........that will create some
job opportunity for you..or you can apply directly in various private companies. Because manny companies dont see your marks, they will see how you have a knowledge and how you give the answers.
once you get the experince it doesnt matter you have good or bad marks.

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

dear friend,

as you are not full filling the minimum eligibility criteria of software companies that's why you are not getting any call letters.

in such conditions make your account in jobs.com and send your CV to them.i think they will send you some offers about jobs.

also you can join any consultancy so that they can arrange interview of software companies.

best of luck.

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

Dear pal,
do not worry about it. There are good demand for engineers the only thing you need to do is equip yourself for the needs of the company. From the current year aspirants are admitted to public sector units based on their GATE SCORE followed by group discussion and personnel interview. So it is better that you can apply for GATE exam which will widen your job option. If you have good GATE score you will be recognised by the private which you apply also.
To equip yourself for the needs of the company you can go for a short term course depending on your discipline. Go for intenship if possible as exposure to the field knowledge will help you a lot than the book knowledge. You will gain experience by doing so. And also develop your communication skill if you lack in it .

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

dear friend,
As you have less than 60% percentage in B.tech course, then you will not be eligible for good companies..

But still you can apply for central govt. sector jobs like-

1.UPSC conducted civil service exams..

2.Defense exams..

3.Private bank po exams..

etc..

You can go for these jobs..

Also there are some MNC's , those are recruiting students having less than 60% aggregate..
You can go for those companies..
After gathering experience you can go for reputed companies...
All the best..

If you dont have 60% in engineering then its not a big problem and its not

neccessary for a software job for having very good percentage. The main

thing is your hardworking quality, skills and knowledge about your field of

you.So its the main thing.Only some MNC company have a requirment and

criteria for 60% above percentage. So nothing to worry about it.You can try in

any company in IT sector. So Do hard work and apply for a job in

company. You will get a good job.

All the best.

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

My dear friend......

You should nor to worry of getting low marks in the b.tech.

you are asking to get job then i want to suggest you that you can do M.tech course, because there is a huge demand of m.tech holder in the companies. the m.tech score card is also very important. company will see your talent by this score card.

if you want to go for the job, then you can do job in the small companies and get the experience, then make yourself perfect in your work, now you can go to the big companies.

best of luck...

Dont worry about your future. You can get a job.The main thing you have not decided the perticular field for your future yet.So that why you didnt get any interview call from software company. If you choose any perticular field for your future as per your interest then it can help you to getting a job.So choose any perticular language which helps to get a job.Java and .net are good options for you. There are having so much scope for future refrence. There is also so much need for a good programmer.
So choose any field which you have more interest.

All the best.

hey its really good that you strong knowledge on JAVA, ORACLE and UNIX, as you have done 2 projects on JAVA i guess you can showcase it for the interview process in small companies where they dont expect to get good marks in coll.. when i say small companies dont feel bad about it right now INDIA we have good pay given from small companies.. I have 2 of my friend who are working still being students right now, which is runned by the youngest CEO of the world Suhas Gopinath the only reason behind this they are good at doing project and they are sure they ll get the job related on that field... so there a lot of opportunities available out with many small companies...

attached some of the smaill companies list with this post which are in chennai.....

just dont lose your hope...... ALL THE BEST...

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

Dear friends,
as per my knowledge there r many companies which does not want 60% in b.tech.mainly for core company u don't need 60%.u may go software sector also though u have less than 60% in ur b.tech.
for ur software companies r
1.cynergy
2.asergent.
3.infotech pvt.
etc.
for ur core companies r
1.bedant
2.tata metalis
etc.
to knowledge jobs related information u can follow newspapers like employment news.or u can visit the web site like www.freshers world.com,www.nokri.com, etc.
so take decission & make ur bright future.
There are many jobs who occurred percentage less than 60% (6.75 dgpa) in B-tech. some companies

1.rail.

2.NTPC.

3.BHEL.

4.DVC.

5.Bank

6.Tata steel

But in my you have to prepare for GATE. Because if you get very goods marks in GATE you may join in IIT,NIT,IIS(Bangalore) for M.tech.If you get good percentile in M tech then you have the chance for getting job in very recognized company such as RELIANCE,TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, NOKIA etc.

good luck.

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

hello friend ,

your state of mind at this particular moment will not be that good but be still make various attempts as your percentage is bit low you should add up a lot things to your resume like

different specialised certificates various reputed institutes like NIIT Microsoft and many more

and all part many companies not only see the percentage they will be concentrated on your hard work and skills as you said your good at communication skills then you should look up on companies like what i have mentioned

expand your group by joining in to forums like this and by your friend circles and

at last i would like to say you one last thing as our percentage is low we have to keep our attitude and ego aside and join into some companies for low salaries also than you expected so that you can gain the experience which will add up to your resume for your future applications

i hope this will help you

all the best

Testing
development etc

that too in good institute and definitely you will get calls and if the call is coming from small scale then also you join as after getting experience no body ask you about %.!!

hi friend

I am sorry to say this, less the 60% is very difficult to get a job in Btech field ,minimum 60% is required , but you can do one thing, get experience in the core by working in Contract for 3 to 4 years , then by the Experience Certificate you can go any where for work, by using your field knowledge, Best of luck

Hi,

There are organizations which do not stress so much on the aggregate and has criteria of above 55%. for example, Accenture.
you can also go for government jobs like PO in banks where you can get a chance to work in the IT department.
Also you can prepare for GATE to get admission in a good institute.

Dear friend,

Yes your percentage is less than 60% then also there are many software compainies they are not carrer based.
so u can apply for walkin to those compainies.
otherwise you can better go for M.Tech also..then after you ll get a job as lecture.

good luck..

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

Nothing to get worried about you still have opportunities left.If your interested in gaining knowledge then you can take up the course through GATE and prove that you have the ability and talent required by scoring good marks. If you perform very well in M.tech then there are chances that companies get impressed by your performance.

You can get selected as lecturers in Engineering colleges if your interested. Now a days all the MNC's ask for a minimum of 60% in all the streams. There are very less companies which can hire you with your aggregate.

You can even go for MBA degree if your interested through CAT.Since you got less percentage i suggest you to go for MBA or M.Tech.

all the best

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?

Better than getting good job your concentration must be on getting a job.
you must first concentrate on entering an organization without considering the job you get.
later you can increase your cadre.

Or else going for higher education like M.Tech or MBA is also a good option.

hi friend there are many students who are suffering from this problem but dont be in panic though maximum companies are looking for 60 throughout but still there are many companies which are looking for performance like tata elaxi, tata motors, synergy, 3i infotech etc

there is another way you may appear for exam like GATE and complete your M.TECH it will fill some gap because companies like wipro, tech mahindra, capegemini they only wants 60 in current degree so be happy apart from that you may apply for PSU there are many which will allow you

or in last case tech support bpo's are always be there for you since you have good communication skills and they only want comm skills

all the best
