Hello friend,
This is a very critical problem faced by many graduates these days... Here is the recommended solution for it.. Join a REPUTED institution of programming languages and learn 1. core JAVA / Advanced JAVA (highly recommended) 2. DOT net (recommended) 3. Oracle (prefered to opt) Develop good skills in programming and definitely you will get a good job with a salary of around 15K PM in any software industry. Good luck. MASK |

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?
Hello friend,
In engineering minimum of 60% marks will be necessary for getting good job. But as your percentage is less than 60% the chance of getting good jobs will be less. But as you have good communication skill and hardworking student then i will suggest that go for some call center jobs ,they didn't wants any percentage criteria they only wants good communication skill and some knowledge about computers. You can also make your base strong that is you can make a single subject strong then try to apply for the specilized jobs in any field of your interest. Good luck!!!!!!! |

as you are not full filling the minimum eligibility criteria of software companies that's why you are not getting any call letters. in such conditions make your account in jobs.com and send your CV to them.i think they will send you some offers about jobs. also you can join any consultancy so that they can arrange interview of software companies. best of luck. |

though you are a good communicator but you will not be eligible for most of the companies. generally most of the software companies like TCS, INFOSYS, IBM, CTS, HCL, MICROSOFT demand 60% throughout your career. i will suggest you to apply for govt. jobs like 1.banks 2.railway 3.defence 4.upsc 5.isro 6.drdo all the best. |

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?
Instead of waiting for call letters from companies, you can upgrade urself by joining some software programming which is latest and also of high demand.
Some institute offers training with certificate and placement programs. If you can afford to study further go for MBA in Human Resource Management since you have very good communiation skills Above all, do not loose confidence in your potential. All the students cannot get high marks So, instead of brooding over it, upgrade your skills in other area. Best of Luck..... |

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?
HI!It is true that many companies coming for campus recruitment require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life. So a score of less than 60% in BTech might pose some problems for you.
But don't loose heart, there are many companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for appearing in campus recruitment/ off campus jobs. You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies & ensure that you fulfil all the criteria before applying for a job. |

it is very unfortunate with you that your marks is less than 60%.No doubt it is very difficult for you to find job for yourself.Friend ,I am advising you that either you can join some college as a faculty or you can join a BPO or call center as your communication is good. You can also go for your further study e.g. MTech or MBA according to your choice. best of luck. |

Re: How to get a job if percentage in btech is less than 60%?
dear friend
Please dont worry, if you dont score more than 60% marks in your B.tech course, then you can apply directly in various private companies. Because manny companies dont see your marks, they will see how you have a knowledge and how you give the answers. So, if you dont score good marks in your b.tech, then you have a good knowledge with good communication skills. If you are able to give answer in the interview, you chances to get a job will be higher. So, dont feel sad, if you dont score good marks. You can apply direcly, by submitting your resume. But please keep in mind that, your resume should be diffrent. So, that they can select your resume first. |
