Re: Required Age limit to appear for NDA Exam? Dear Friend, The abbreviation "NDA" stands for National Defense Academy. the Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Exam every year twice. The NDA Exam conducted twice in a year is named as the NDA-I & NDA-II Exam. The NDA-I Exam is conducted in April and the NDA-II Exam is conducted in the month of August every year. The Required Age Limit for NDA Exam is 16.5-19 years. Also the Union Public service Commission does not give any relaxation in upper age to candidates no matter they belong to any category. Also the Other Requisites for NDA Exam are : * The candidate must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board. * The candidate must be an unmarried male. * Girl candidates are not allowed to apply for the NDA Exam. * The candidate must be an Indian. * The candidate must be mentally and physically fit. Hello Friend, National Defence Academy(NDA) Entrance exam is conducted for recruiting eligible candidates to Indian Armed Forces like Indian Air force wings, Indian Army Wings, Indian Navy wings. Eligibility: 1.candidate should have passed 12th standard or its equivalent examination from any recognized University/Board. 2.Only Unmarried male candidates between 16 1/2 to 19 years can apply for the exam. 3.candidate who are applying for the exam should have Indian citizenship. The required age for NDA is from 16.5 to 19 years.Your age should lies between this schedule and it is according to the UPSC because you can apply for NDA only and only after completion of 12th with in any of the stream. As there are types of civil services that comes under NDA: 1.Indian Navy 2.Indian Air Force 3.Indian Military And you can apply for any from these according to your choice and interest. NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is an entrance exam which is used to enter into the field of civil services after completion of 12th with in any of the field. You must be eligible for it.Your age should be correct and you have to satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for NDA.Girls are not eligible for NDA because it is according to the UPSC rule. NDA held as twice in a year.  Eligibility criteria for NDA: 1.You must be an Indian. 2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6. 4.You must be physically fit. 5.Girls are not eligible for it. 6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it. You can apply for NDA after completion of 12th with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board with any of the following stream:- 1.Arts 2.Commerce 3.Non-Medical 4.Medical Girls can only apply after completion of graduation because after graduation they can apply through CDS entrance exam.For CDS,both girls an boys are eligible. Sir my date of birth is 13-3-1994, i have completed only 18 yrs and i am not able to submit nda application by online. they is a notice coming dat i am not able to take nda-2 exam because of my age. but the eligibility criteria says that we should be between 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs and i am just 18 yrs why am i not able to take up nda-2 exam....?? |

After the entrance exam if you get selected , then you will be called for interview and physical and medical test where they will check the weight and height requirements and also health condition . Indian Air Force wings 2. Indian Navy Wings 3. Indian Army Wings The minimum educational qualification for this examination is a 12th degree from the recognized board.For apply in Indian air force & naval force, you must have subjects Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60% in 12th [aggregate]. Exam pattern- The age limit for this examination is - 16.5-19 years for all category candidates. Physical requirements-  You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.
