Re: Upper age limit for UGC NET exam? Procedure for NET exam? UGC conduct the NET exam for JRF and LECTURERSHIP . ugc net exam held twice a year, in the months of June and December. The notifications comes in month of March and September in Employment News and ugc website also. you can apply online only with this link --- http://www.ugcnetonline.in/ Eligibility:- For net exam Post graduate degree is must in any subject with 55% from any recognised university. Age limit:- For lecturership no upper age limit. For JRF not more then 28 year. Relaxation for reserve category. Syllabus for net For more detail:- www.ugc.ac.in |

After M.A, you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university. Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. Part time course are not eligible for NET exam. For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years. For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years. NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance. Thanks |

The candidate must have secured 55 % aggregate marks.The final year students can also apply for the exam. *)The maximum age limit to apply for the exam is 28 years.However there is 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates. Examination scheme: The entire examination is divided into 3 papers:: Paper 1 consists reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent hinking and general awareness of the candidate. aper 2 will be of objective type questions from the subject chosen by the candidate. Paper 3 consists of subjective questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.
