Information Regarding UGC NET Examination.

If you are interested to apply for the UGC NET examination and want to know about this exam then here i give you the details information. This exam is conducted in the field of Humanities, Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Computer science and application, Electronic Science and Social Science. The age criteria for this exam is given below.

Age Limit for UGC NET Examination :

For UGC JRF :- The maximum age is 28 years.

Age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category. The details is given below :

Relaxation upto 5 years for :- SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

Relaxation upto 3 years for :- LLM degree holder.

the upper limit for appearing in NET exam is max. 28 years for general students. there is also relaxation of 5 years for SC\ST\OBC\PH candidates.Relaxation upto 3 years for :- LLM degree holder.

ELIGIBILITY::

*)In order to be eligible for the UGC NET, the interested candidate will have to be a post graduate. The candidate must have secured 55 % aggregate marks.The final year students can also apply for the exam.

*)The maximum age limit to apply for the exam is 28 years.However there is 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

Examination scheme:

The entire examination is divided into 3 papers::

Paper 1 consists reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent hinking and general awareness of the candidate.

aper 2 will be of objective type questions from the subject chosen by the candidate.

Paper 3 consists of subjective questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.

Dear friend,

After M.A, you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

UGC conduct the NET exam for JRF and LECTURERSHIP .

ugc net exam held twice a year, in the months of June and December.

The notifications comes in month of March and September in Employment News and ugc website also.
