Well as you have not specifically told about any particular state Sub inspector exam so i giving you information about the exam which is conducted by the SSC. The notification for the SI post has been declared . Eligibility for the SI:: You must have passed bachelor degree in any streams. You should be between 18 - 25 years of age . Recruitment process::The recruitment process to get selected in SSC SI exam is very hard .The candidates have to go through the three stages which are :: 1.PET:Physical efficiency test 2.Written exam. 3. Personal interview. Written exam: The candidates who have qualified in the PET are to appear for the written test of 20 marks (Objective type) in : Maths Physics/Science Computer awareness. Procedure to apply for the exam : You have to fill the application form in prescribed format along with a requisite documents The last date to apply for the SI post is : 10/04/2012 For these states State of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizorum, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and Ladhak Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and lakshadweep the last date is 17/04/2012.
