Re: Age limit to appear for the upcoming IAS entrance exam? Dear friend, Yes you are eligible for medical entrance test at the age of 21 years.The upper limit for medical entrance test is 25 years. One more thing that is mandatory is that in 12th you must have Physics,Chemistry and Biology in your +2 level. Indian Administrative Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.This examination was conducted by U.p.s.c every year. age limit for I.A.S entrance exam is:- ->The minimum age to appear in civil service examination is 21 years. ->the age limit for General applicants is 30 years ->The age limit for OBC candidates is 33 years & SC/ST Candidates is 35 years. thank you |

Re: Age limit to appear for the upcoming IAS entrance exam? you can appear in this exam under the age limit of 21-30 years as a general candidates. also there are 5 & 3 years relaxation for SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively. no.of attempt- 4 for general candidates 7 for OBC candidates & FOR SC\ST candidates there are no such restriction of no,of attempts. |

Re: Age limit to appear for the upcoming IAS entrance exam? dear friend, IAS is a civil service exam, which is conducted by UPSC every year.. You want to know the age criteria for IAS exam.. Age criteria:- *The candidate must have attained the age 21 years or must not have complete the age 30 years on 1st august of the year of exam.. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the age relaxation is 3 years.. These are the age criteria one have to fulfill to appear in the IAS exam.. All the best.. |

This examination was conducted by Upsc every year.To become a I.A.S Officer then you need to appear for the Civil Service Examination. Civil Service Examination consist of Preliminary,Main and Interview.This year preliminary examination was already completed and the examination of the results was already announced and Main Examination is held on 29/October/11. Upcoming preliminary examination :- Date of Notification : 04/Feb/12 Last date for receipt of application : 05/March/12 Date of examination : 20/May/12 Age limits :- 21 years to 30 years as on august 1st of the year of examination. 21 years to 33 years for OBC candidates. 21 years to 35 years for SC/ST candidates. The candidate must have a graduate degree from any recognized university. |

Re: Age limit to appear for the upcoming IAS entrance exam? the age limit exist for appearing in this exam is 21-30 years. for SC\ST & OBC candidates there are relaxation of 5 years & 3 years respectively. no. of attempt for general students are 4, and OBC it is 7 times. for SC\ST candidates there are no such restriction. also you must have graduation from any stream. |

Notification come in moth of December- January. Basically IAS exam is a slang used for Civil services examination. It is conducted by UPSC every year. UPSC is the individual authority to take care of all the examination process of civil services examination.
