Hi Going for MBA or MTech, depends on your interest, where you would like to work in near future. Both MTech and MBA have good scope, good salary and opportunity If you are going for MTech, then you dont have choice but to do M.Tech in Mechanical or Production If you are going for MBA, then you can choose your field from following - Finance management - Operation management - strategy management - marketing management - human resource management - IT/ITES management with both you can go for government and private sector. PRESENTLY I HAVE FINISHED BTECH 2ND YEAR IN MECHANICAL ENGG. AND WAITING FOR THE CLASSES TO COMMENCE!! THERE ARE 3 OPTIONS OR CHOICES B4 ME: MS OR MBA OR MTECH ????? ANYWAY I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TEACHING SECTOR!! ALSO I CANT GET RID OF MY SUBJECT KNOWLEDGE OR I WANNA KEEP IN TOUCH WITH MA SUBJ!! SO SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Which specialization to choose in M.Tech? dear friend, After completion of B.tech in mechanical stream,I think you should go for M.tech.. It will help you to gather more knowledge in your field.. Also you will get specialize in your field.. After that you can get a job in a better designation with a higher salary.. You can also go for research in your field.. MBA course is also in huge demand.. If you have interest in management field then you can go for MBA course.. After that you will get a very good job in management post.. So, you can go for any one of them.. It is totally depends upon your interest.. All the best.. |

After your graduation it is more better to go for MBA and for it you need to crack CAT and if you will able to crack it and then you will get admission in IIT or IIM and you will get placed into corporate sector with handsome packages and therefore your future will be secured.And if you go for Mtech then you will be indulged in teaching profession. |

Both are Master degrees in two important fields one in technology and the other in Business ->Both are equally important for the development of country. ->Both are very highly regarded in the society coming to your career if you select MBA or M.tech after your Bachelors then your job opportunities are more than a student with just bachelors degree For that reason most of the students do their M.tech or M.B.A after their bachelors and some do for their pleasure And mainly doing masters will also fetch for research work ,research which is key for the development of the field can be done with masters only. so selecting Masters degree in Business or Technology depends on your interest if you have a good core subject knowledge of your bachelors in engineering then go with M.tech or if you are exceptionally interested with your core subjects don't miss an opportunity for the country to give a precious diamond. if you are very much attracted to business then it will be good option for your career and also for your job prospectus MBA jobs pay higher to you than M.tech Jobs coming to salary issue.. this is because of High risk in MBA thank in M.Tech . Before taking a decision between MBA or M.Tech think twice. if you want to freshly start the syllabus for GATE Entrance exam then it is not good idea for doing M.Tech because.. you can't get good rank which gets you seat in IIT's if you do your preparation from now. There should be pre planned action preparation for GATE Entrance exam. Even the same hard work has to be done for MBA too but .. Preparing for CAT Seems bit interesting than preparing for GATE Entrance exam. |

Which specialization to choose in M.Tech? dear friend, Two things i can say to you is that ... 1.If you want for higher studies and and want to become a professor or lecturar or scientist then choose M.Tech..But one thing you have to remember that after M.Tech. you can also get job. 2.If you want to shine in IT industry then choose MBA. So my suggestion to you is that first pursue your M.Tech degree and then go for MBA and then you will get job in different company. good luck. |
