Re: Will I be able to give the NDA exam at an age of 18 years? yes, you are eligible to apply for the N.D.A. examination. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- -- Candidate must be an Unmarried male candidate. -- Girls are not allowed for N.D.A. examination. -- Candidate must have completed +2 with science stream in order to apply for all wings of defense i.e. Army, Air force, Navy wing. -- Candidates who have only completed +2 with any stream can apply for Army wing only. -- The candidate must have attained the age of 16.5 years & must not attained the age of 19 years. -- You must be free from serious diseases. -- You must not be any bone & joint disease. -- You must not have mental breakdown or fits. -- After full inspiration the minimum chest expansion is 5 c.m. -- Minimum acceptable height required is 157.5 c.m. But it is 162.5 c.m in case of Air Force. -- You must have well developed chest. -- Your chest must be fully expanded & not less than 81 c.m. Important dates for N.D.A.(II):- --Date of notification:-05.05.2012 --Last date for submission:-04.06.2012 --Date of exam:-19.08.2012(Sunday) |

The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC for the admission in the Army,Naval wing and Air wing of the NDA.The examination is conducted twice in a year. The eligibility Criteria for the NDA examination is that a candidate has passed class 12th or equivalent.Class 12th appearing students are also eligible for the examination.Age of the candidate should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. If you have passed class 12th or appearing in it then you are quite eligible for the examination. Important NDA Examination Dates (2012) : >> Notification Released Date : 31/Dec/2011. >> Last date of apply : 30/Jan/2012 >> Examination date : 15/April/2012. Hope for your good future scope. |

NDA stands For National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA (I) Examination. The Notification of NDA (I) 2012 Notification was already declared on 31/Dec/2011 in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website. The last date of fill Online Application form is 30/Jan/2012.Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only.Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.So, If your are Fulfill the given Eligiblity Criteria then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.If you are Interested in this examination and Fulfill the given eligibility |

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army. Navy, and Air Force. The eligible candidate should pass 10+2 with or without Science within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age, he should be an unmarried Indian male with certain physical standard. The final 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply for NDA. The notification for NDA-I has already been announced on 31.12.2011, the application can be made through on line the last date of which is 30.01.2012. NDA exam conduct by UPSC twice every year in month of April (NDA I) and August(NDA II) for Indian Navy,Indian Army,Indian Airforce. Only Unmarried Male candidate whose age between 16.5 to 19 years can apply for this exam. you must Physically and Medically Fit. you should complete 12th by recognised Institution for Army. For Navy and Airforce,you should complete 12th with physics,chemistry and maths by recognised Institution. Date of NDA exam for 2012 is 15th April 2012. |

Age eligibility for NDA exam:- 1.Candidate must have attend 16.5 years of age and must not have complete 18 years of age. As you are saying that you are 18 years old then you can sit in NDA exam for the last time.. But your age should not complete 18 years at the time of appearing in the exam. So, go for it.. Any student can givi it after he/she completed 12th class. you are eligible for appearing in NDA exam till yoyr age will be 19.5 years. NDA includes 2 steps in selection procedure: 1.Written exam 2.SSB thank you. |
