• Born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.

The date of NDA(I) examination is already declared . The NDA (I) 2012 exam Notification was already declared on 31/Dec/2011 in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website.The last date of fill Online Application form is 30/Jan/2012.

NDA exam is a defense service exam , which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year..

Age eligibility for NDA exam:-

1.Candidate must have attend 16.5 years of age and must not have complete 18 years of age.

As you are saying that you are 18 years old then you can sit in NDA exam for the last time..

But your age should not complete 18 years at the time of appearing in the exam.

So, go for it..

The eligibility Criteria for the NDA examination is that a candidate has passed class 12th or equivalent.Class 12th appearing students are also eligible for the examination.Age of the candidate should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

If you have passed class 12th or appearing in it then you are quite eligible for the examination.

Important NDA Examination Dates (2012) :

>> Notification Released Date : 31/Dec/2011.
>> Last date of apply : 30/Jan/2012

Yes you can apply for NDA exam.

NDA exam conduct by UPSC twice every year in month of April (NDA I) and
August(NDA II) for Indian Navy,Indian Army,Indian Airforce.

Only Unmarried Male candidate whose age between 16.5 to 19 years can apply for this exam.

you must Physically and Medically Fit.

you should complete 12th by recognised Institution for Army.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA at the age of 18 years.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army. Navy, and Air Force.

The eligible candidate should pass 10+2 with or without Science within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age, he should be an unmarried Indian male with certain physical standard. The final 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply for NDA.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

-- Candidate must be an Unmarried male candidate.
-- Girls are not allowed for N.D.A. examination.
-- Candidate must have completed +2 with science stream in order to apply for all wings of defense i.e. Army, Air force, Navy wing.
-- Candidates who have only completed +2 with any stream can apply for Army wing only.
-- The candidate must have attained the age of 16.5 years & must not attained the age of 19 years.
-- You must be free from serious diseases.
-- You must not be any bone & joint disease.
-- You must not have mental breakdown or fits.
-- After full inspiration the minimum chest expansion is 5 c.m.
-- Minimum acceptable height required is 157.5 c.m. But it is 162.5 c.m in case of Air Force.
-- You must have well developed chest.
-- Your chest must be fully expanded & not less than 81 c.m.

--Last date for submission:-04.06.2012
