Re: Best course in Engineering after completion of 12th class? There are lots of Branches in engineering. You should choose one among them on the basis of your interest. So that you can focus on your study and able to do well in the course. List of branches- 1. Computer Engineering. 2. Mechanical Engineering 3. Civil Engineering 4. Electrical Engineering 5. Electronics and Communication Engineering 6. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering 7. Chemical Engineering 8. Software Engineering All the course are in great demand. But if you are looking for government job then i will say you should go for computer engineering. Computers Engineers are in great demand in each and every field. |

After completion of (10+2) in science stream with maths , you are eligible for engineering & can choose any engineering branch & can complete B.E course which is 4 year undergraduate course in engineering. Generally the core engineering streams are regarded as the best engineering streams owing to their vast areas of application and utility. The core engineering streams are:- 1)Mechancal engineering 2)Civil engineering 3)Electrical engineering 4)electronics and communication engineering I would also like to caution you that there are very few companies in India and all the companies head straight away to the IITs and NITs so taking either of the core streams in the private colleges might be a little riky if you want to do a job right after BTech. However if you are pllaning to complete MTech also then there is no harm. best of luck!!! |

If u study in that dept with real zeal and interest in that field , the career opportunities will be amazing irrespective of the dept . Anyway in the present trend Mechanical is the best n evergreen branch in which career opportunities will be more both in the private and public sector . The main point is for Mechanical Engineering Core jobs are very more as compared with any other branch and it is always evergreen . So frn I suggest you Mechanical Field if you are interested . |
