Re: Which books to refer to crack GATE entrance exam? Hi... First of all you have taken a very good decision to start preparing yourself for GATE exam frim now..It is very good of you.. First of all you have to make clear your concepts in your department subject.. Read well and carefully..each and every words from a good book.. Study in regular basis.. You dont need to go any institution for coaching..(It is ofcourse better if you go) Buy a book of Gate exam of GK Publications.. Dont try to cover 100%of the syllabus...ok.. try to cover 50% syllabus(as you are a average student)..this will be enough for you.. 3-4 months of serious study can make you clear the GATE exam.. thank you.. best of luck for your exam. |

So, the questions those are comes in GATE exam are conceptual based.. That's why one must have a clear concept in technical papers to solve those question as quick as possible. You can follow GATE by GK publishers book.. Which is very helpful for GATE exam.. Beside this you have to solve previous year questions , which will give you an Idea about the question pattern.. You can also join some coaching center to prepare yourself for the exam. They will take mock tests every week.. By which you will gain confidence and also they clear all your queries.. They provide study materials.. So, work hard, be determine and try ro crack the exam on the very first attempt |

Re: Which books to refer to crack GATE entrance exam? for preparation of GATE examination you should study the text book very carefully first. because from text book you will gain good knowledge in the subject and in GATE examination questions come from the basic part of the subject so good subject knowledge is very much required to clear the GATE examination. when you will think that you have idea in all topics included in the GATE syllabus then buy some books for GATE examination which contains Multiple choice question answers as well as some model questions paper which follow the standard of GATE examination and from where question may come in the examination. GATE by G K Publishers is very well known book for GATE examination preparation. they publish books for GATE examination for every popular stream of engineering. you have not mentioned your stream of engineering till if you are from electronics related stream and you will appear in GATE in electronics paper then you may buy the book for GATE examination by Conodia. in market there are so many good books for GATE examinations are available you may so many books from there. In GATE examination there is only mathematics part which come from first year. otherwise total technical part come from 2nd year to 4th year. you may start your preparation for GATE examination starting with mathematics from the 1st year. best of luck. |
