plz tell the name of writer & books for cracking gate .i am the student of B.tech 1st year and tell the name of those book whose languge is easy to understand

for preparation of GATE examination you should study the text book very carefully first. because from text book you will gain good knowledge in the subject and in GATE examination questions come from the basic part of the subject so good subject knowledge is very much required to clear the GATE examination.

when you will think that you have idea in all topics included in the GATE syllabus then buy some books for GATE examination which contains Multiple choice question answers as well as some model questions paper which follow the standard of GATE examination and from where question may come in the examination. first you increase your basic knowledge in the stream you belong as you are in 1st year. Go through your text books regularly and you have plenty of times to prepare so at first download your gate syllabus & study according to gate syllabus from text book.

First of all you have to make clear your concepts in your department subject..
Read well and carefully..each and every words from a good book..
Study in regular basis..
You dont need to go any institution for coaching..(It is ofcourse better if you go)
Buy a book of Gate exam of GK Publications..
Dont try to cover 100%of the syllabus...ok..
try to cover 50% syllabus(as you are a average student)..this will be enough for you..

3-4 months of serious study can make you clear the GATE exam..
