To become CBI officer, you may appear for combined graduate preliminary exam, conducted by staff selection commission. To be eligible for the exam, you must hold a bachelors degree (any*stream), from a recognized university. The minimum age is 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. All the best |

Re: Qualification required for a CBI job? dear friend, Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam(CGPE), that is conducted*by the*SSC(Service Selection Board)*every year. The minimum eligibility to appear for the exam is: Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in any disciplinefrom a recognized university.Students in the final. year can also apply. Age limit: Candidate must have attained minimum 20 years*of age and must not be more than 30 years. For more details, visit: http://cbi.nic.in/. All the best. |

Re: Qualification required for a CBI job? hi dear For CBI minimum qualification is graduation. after that you should able to apply for entrance exam for CBI which is conducted by UPSC. age 21 to 27 years age relaxation as per govt .rules................ |

You can join CBI, as a sub-inspector by applying for Combined graduate level exam conducted by SSC. The exam was held in the previous month, if you have missed it no worries. keep checking www.ssc.nic.in. It will be out again next year. Best of luck. Feel free to ask if doubts remain. |

This exam is basically conducted for the selection of candidate for the following posts Assistants, Inspectors and Sub- Inspectors, Divisional Accountants, Junior Accountants, Auditors in various governmental agencies like the Railways, Central Vigilance Commission, Central Excise, Income Tax, CBI, Central Police Organizations etc. For the post of CBI a candidate needs the following eligibility criteria. Age Limit Candidate age should be between 20 and 27 years. Relaxation in age given to reserved category candidates like SC/ST for 5 years.
