In that way you can do the best.But doing a best engineering course wont fetch you anything without having any knowledge. So do a engineering course which makes you good in what you are. For example if you are good at the Computer applications go for the CSE Engg. If you are good at the Chemistry you can go for the Chemical engineering.Likewise you can choose your interest of course in the engineering by that you can do the best in the engineering. Re: Which branch is the best to join in engineering after 12th? Hello Friend, Most of the students these days opt for either ECE or CSE as the job opportunities for these two stream is tremendous. But if you have a special interest in say Electrical then you should opt for that you will be able to excel more in that rather then going with the trend and not utilizing your talent in that stream. But if you don't and are really confused then opting for either CSE or ECE will be good for your career. The name of the college also matters so try and get the admission in to a good Engineering college. Best wishes.. |

In my opinion there is no best courses in engineering course...it is according to your interest.e.g.if you are interest in comp.sc. then take CSE....try to find your interest in the courses and then take it....but to get a job easily after B.E take civil engineering...good luck |

Surely there are some good branches with good potential but at the end of the day you need to choose the stream depending on your interest. For instance if your interest is in construction then go for Civil Engineering, if you want to design cars then go for Automobile Engineering. Similarly candidates with interest in IT field should opt for Computer Science Engineering. Those who want to design jets and passenger aircrafts should opt for aeronautical engineering. There are just so many branches, it depends on your choice. However in terms of jobs Civil/Mechanical/Electronics and Communications are the leading branches of Engineering. If I have to suggest you one out of these three then my pick would be Electronics and Communication Engineering. It gives you option to pick a job in various fields. Some of these fields are very strong in India and have very bright future. There is a strong possibility that these fields will generate even more jobs in future. The job options are as following: Public Sector Undertaking Those who want government jobs will get no better option then PSU. These companies are completely controlled by the government of India and they offer all the relaxations for PH/PD/OBC/SC/ST as are offered in other government sector jobs. Eligibility 1. B.Tech degree with at least 60 percent marks. 2. There is some relaxation in percentage for reserve category. 3. Age limit for PSU Exam is 21 to 30 years. 4. OBC can appear for exam till 33 years. 5. While SC/ST are allowed to apply for job till 35 years. 6. There should be no pending backlog in your degree. 7. A valid GATE score is mandatory for job in various PSUs. PSU List BEL DRDO IOCL BPCL ISRO GAIL SAIL ECIL ONGC BHEL NALCO Information Technology The job opportunities for ECE are not just limited to PSU. IT sector also offers plenty of jobs to the ECE. Dear Friend , First try to choose the branch in which you are really interested in and if you join the same as per interest , the career opportunities are yours . There are plenty of opportunities n jobs in any field if you are interested n passionate in that field . Anyway as per my knowledge n current trend I suggest Mechanical Engineering is the best dept because the number of core companies n core jobs are more as compared to other departments . And also the opportunities in public sector is more for Mechanical and it is evergreen field with no fluctuations . |

If u study in that dept with real zeal and interest in that field , the career opportunities will be amazing irrespective of the dept . Anyway in the present trend Mechanical is the best n evergreen branch in which career opportunities will be more both in the private and public sector . The main point is for Mechanical Engineering Core jobs are very more as compared with any other branch and it is always evergreen . So frn I suggest you Mechanical Field if you are interested . |
