UPSC conducted this exam twisely in a year.Required qualification fopr this exam is graduation from a recognized university of india. Age limit for this exam is 19 to 24 years. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Physically fit for candidate. Selection process can be done in thre ways those are 1.written exam 2.Medical test 3.Interview BEST OF LUCK.... |

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC two times every year as CDS-I ans CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army, must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate only having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. If you are interested to Join in Indian army with your graduation Then you are go through with CDS Examination CDS stands for Combined Defence Service This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service commission The "Combined Defence Services" Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). UES :university entry scheme for graduates for entry into army,navy,airforce. Fast track entry scheme :it is newly introduced scheme,defence services itself come to selected engineering colleges for recruiting engineers. Re: I want to join indian army after btech You can join Indian army, in there technical as well as logistic cadre. You can enter through- UES: university entry scheme, notification for it is released in employment news, firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance, then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test. SSC: short service commission, for 10 years which is extendable up to 14 years and later on permanent commission depending upon performance, notification for it is released in employment news, firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance, then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test. And few other schemes like technical entry, fast track etc. For more detailed information visit its official website- http://www.careerarmy.nic.in There is no common form for above mentioned schemes,you have to send hand written or typed application in the requiored format,for which details are given in nitifications. |

The duration of training is 1 year. You should look for the advertisement published in leading newspapers/employment news in Apr/Nov every year.Short listed candidates will be directly called for SSB Interview. Candidates recommended by SSB will have to undergo a medical exam. Usually there are no direct recruitment's of B.Tech. Biotechnology graduates in Indian Army. However you can join Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) that works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence after completing Post Graduation or PhD in Life sciences. |

Re: I want to join indian army after btech Yes ofcourse you can join Indian army after doing B.tech by qualifying CDS exam and there is an another way for this that is campus selection in Indian army and after both this way you have to pass SSB and by clearing SSB you can join Indian army. |

You will have to prepare for CDSE exam and then if pass that you will have to give SSB and if you get selected in that then you have to appear for medical test and if you clear that then you will be selected and have to join the defence. you should have completed your graduation with at least 50% aggregate. |

Re: I want to join indian army after btech After your B.tech course you can give your CDS examination conducted by the UPSC board.You can even go through the MES exam for recruitment of officer's in military.You can visit the official website of the UPSC to get all the information http://www.upsc.gov.in You can even apply for the SSC if you score above 75% in your B.tech course.If your a NCC C candidate then you can have a direct entry. The UPSC applications will be available in the Head post office of your city. all the best |

Re: I want to join indian army after btech check it out the notice which i send it will be very much help full for you all friends Both male and female candidates can join Indian Air Force( Technical Branch) after their engineering (Btech and BE). Mainly there are two branches for which the student can apply for after his Btech or BE. The first one is Aeronautical Engineering Electronics branch and the other one is the Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical branch. The Electronics branch deals with signal and communication stuff while the Mechanical branch has to take care of the maintenance, servicing and other engine related tasks. Eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Air Force: Age: 18 to 28 years (At the time of commencement of training) Branches in Btech / BE: Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering Salary Range: approx. 17000 along with benefits and various allowances. Percentage in Btech / BE: 60% or above Time for Recruitment Notice: Twice in a year (around March and September). . Application Procedure: The detailed information is provided by the Employment News or Rozgar Samachar newspaper. Steps for Recruitment: Engineering Knowledge Test also known as EKT Once the students are able to clear the EKT step, they receive a call letter to report to any one of the Air Force Selection Boards located at Dehradun, Varanasi or Mysore where they have to clear an array of tests specifically crafted for assessing Officer Like Qualities – OLQ of the candidates. The test lasts for 5 days Day 1: Intelligence and Psychological Tests Day 2 and 3: Group tasks involving field events and physical activities. Day 4: Interview Day 5: Conference day where all the different assessors sit together and discuss the abilities and performance of candidate in order to check whether he is to be recommended or not. Those students who successfully complete these steps have to appear for the medical examination.
