I got one referral drive in wipro for GIS Engineer. Actually myself is E.C.E background. If I attend that interview should I have any hopes to switch to a programmer as a Java developer if I got selected??

Hi All,

I got offer from TCS and Accenture for VBA Developer after having 2.7 years of experience.

But Accenture is paying better around 50 K per annum better than TCS.

Where should I join ?

I have worked with wipro for 3.5 years and moved to tcs 6 months ago. Tcs is not at allllll good. Wipro interms of atmosphere infra wrk pressure evrytng is perfct. If u wnt good sal goto tcs if u wnt peaceful life go to wipro.

Hello friend,
Both are good company,there is no doubt in this.
but as much as i concern Tcs is better company in compare to wipro.you will get good salary,more job securityand also for experience people TCS provides much more salary than any other companies.
But i will say for freshers wipro is a good company.if you really wants to kow something then go for Wipro.Good work environment is there.

what u now getting itself is the right pay. every company they will have the same hike jobsecurity and all equally so u need not worry about tcs or wipro. where ever u work . u should be respect ur work then u will become good in that field

Wipro is a big name but there is no job secure ,and very less chances of hike

they always use the candidate as ' use and throw "

You should go for wipro..
reasons :
1) Employee friendly policies.Like good re-imbursement volumes for you and ur family.
2) Equal Onsite Oppurtunity.
3) Working Environment is competitive. It more tends to Knowledge development.
4) Solid Infrastructure in all locations.
5) Corportae policies are very clear and you have to abide by all...(this is good for individual development point of view)
6) Various Allowances depending on shifts you're working.
7) CAB facilities to Employee. Just get Manager approval and you can access this facility anytime.
8) Fun/Frolic activities getting conducted very requently to remove stress out of you!!

So even after working with both the organizations it is difficult for me to judge which is good and which is best.
we always have some pros and cons in each companies ,in my personal opinion i would give TCS a edge over wipro
there are volumes i can write about these companies.. but if you do have any query let me know i would be happy to help

Hi, my name is darshan, i'm doing my final year B.E in Biotechnology. I have got placed in wipro technologies. I'm in a dilemma if i should join or not, that is because i'm very much interested to do my masters in my core field. So my question is what are the chances of me being able to pursue my masters (in core field- biotech) being in association with wipro??

If you are considering monetary factor as a concern then both the companies are identical. But job security wise of course TCS is far superior. Corresponding to onsite opportunity and other stuffs, it all depends on types of projects and clients. So, overall weightage.. Definitely TCS! Good luck!

dear friend,

Both TCS and Wipro are good enough.Both give 3.16 lacks p.a. to the bachelor candidates and 4.2 for the master degree holder. But I think that for the fresher it is better to join in TCS. There is another option which is I think good enough is TCS wants the candidate having 60% through out its carrier but wipro wants 65%.

Overall it is up on you my dear friend.

dont join wipro, if you cant oiling your boss , there will be no growth, it is true for all section in wipro. your boss is got all. I am facing this since last 6 years journey in wipro. only get 2 lk hike in these years and maintaining so many projects..

Its really a difficult one to choose from the two.But as per the experience of some of my close friends working in TCS, it is better of the two.In TCS, chances for offshore opportunities are more.The working environment is not that stressful,there is some sort of relaxation.Some of my friends even tell that TCS is like a govt.job.So,i think TCS will be better option to choose.
But one thing is for sure that sincerity and dedication will get the rewards irrespective of the companies.
The package you mentioned seems to be pretty handsome for me.

both Wipro and TCS are privied standard salary package.

and if you thinking about experience, then you will be get equally experience.

but the things is that job stability.

it is a vital matter for employee.

TCS has more jobs stability than wipro.
