Re: LIC officers EXAM: Can we use calculator? GK questions are Indian based or World based? Well The USE OF CALCULATORS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITTED... And secondly most GK questions come from within the the country...but a very good knowledge of GLOBE SCAN is also required... good luck !! |

GK questions can be asked from any part of the world. Make sure to be well prepared and try to solve many previous question papers s possible to get familiar with the question patterns. |

Hello Friend, As per my own experience of LIC officers exams which i have given this year, the GK questions were world based but most of the questions were India based. But it will be better if you prepare the world based GK.And there are lots of questions based on LIC.Calculators are not allowed.So you must practice a lot which will improve your solving speed. |

Calculator is allowed only in those exam where the calculations are very tough and very lengthy like in statistics and IIT's.In the competetive exams you need not to use calculator. Second answer is that it comprises overall GK both national and international affairs |
