NET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice every year one in June and other in December for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation Degree exam in any stream with 55% marks from a recognised University above the age of 19 years, is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age bar for those applying for Lectureship. The last date of submission of application on line is 30.04.2012 The last date of submission of hard copy of on line application form along with other allied documents at the test center is 07/05/2012 The NET exam will be held on 24/06/2012. The candidate should be complete post graduation course from any recognized university. The candidate have to score a min of 55% of marks in post graduation. There is no upper age limit for the candidate. But for JRF one should be in the age group of 19 to 28 years. Hai, NET(National Eligibility Test) conducted by the University Grants commission(UGC) twice in a year i.e in the june month and in the december month. Eligibility criteria Junior research fellowship: The candidate should be complete master's degree in any recognised university with atleast 55% marks. Age limits should be 19years to 28years. You should be a citizen of india. Eligibility criteria for Lecturship: The candidate should be complete master's degree in any recognised university with atleast 55% of marks. To apply for this NET Examination you should complete Master degree in any discipline with Minimum 55% percentage of marks from recognized university . If your an SC/ST candidate then relaxation is applicable for 50% percentage of marks . Note :- Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .
