Important Dates for NET Examination :-

• Last date of Submission Application :- 30/04/2012
• Last date of Receiving the Documents :- 07/05/2012

NET stands for National Eligibility Test . This Examination organized by University Grants Commission . This Examination is held twice in year during the Month of June and December .

To apply for this NET Examination you should complete Master degree in any discipline with Minimum 55% percentage of marks from recognized university . If your an SC/ST candidate then relaxation is applicable for 50% percentage of marks .

Note :- Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . But the candidate have to qualified in Master degree with fail in single subject then only the candidate should eligible to apply for NET Examination .

For Junior Research Fellowship :- your age should be Not more then 28 years and relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidate and obc candidates

For Lectureship :- There is no age limit for Lectureship . Any age candidate may eligible to apply fro Lectureship But the candidate should satisfy the eligibility Criteria .

You may apply for this Examination in online mode . You may download the examination application from official website f UPSC . The Cost of application form Rs:- 400 /- for General candidate and Rs:- 200 /- for OBC candidate and Rs:- 100 for SC/ST candidates .

If your qualified in NET Examination then you may eligible to get lecturer job in reputed college . The score card for Junior Research Fellowship will be valid for two years .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

. The date for UGC NET - June 2012 is SUNDAY, June 24, 2012.

NET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice every year one in June and other in December for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF).

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation Degree exam in any stream with 55% marks from a recognised University above the age of 19 years, is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age bar for those applying for Lectureship.

The last date of submission of application on line is 30.04.2012

The last date of submission of hard copy of on line application form along with other allied documents at the test center is 07/05/2012
