Re: How good are the placements of BITS Hyderabad? well the placements are quite good for the first year, if you want check the placement division in the home page of bits hyd. please see the site properly, 150 companies in pilani campus. more than 50 companies have come to bphc. it is also very good to get 50 companies for the first year. even the student names with their id numbers and the companies they got recruited to are also available, you can check if you can check if you an't believe. and in three or four years, it'll probably get more than 100 companies looking at the proress made so far. |

So as of now there havent been any placements in BITS Hyderabad.The campus placements will be held this year for those who have completed their B.E this year. Hyderabad Visakhapatnam Vijayawada Tirupati Warangal. 3. Dates for AP Public Service Commission Group 1 Written Examination will be announced later through website and News Papers hence Applicants are requested to remain alert in this regard. 4. Applicants should choose only one of the above centres. Centre once chosen shall be final. The Commission, however reserves the right to allot candidates to any centre other than the centre chosen by the applicant or abolish a centre and or to create a new centre for administrative reasons. 5. Applicants must indicate the centres for both Andhra Pradesh PSC Group 1 Screening Test & Main ( Conventional Type ) APPSC Group I Written Examination in the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Job Application Form. 6. The Andhra Pradesh PSC Group I Screening Test is likely to be held on 27.05.2012. 7. The APPSC Group 1 Main Examination is likely to be held from 03.10.2012. |

The cut off marks for the first round of counselling in BITS Hyderabad for B.Pharm.(Hons.) is 211 for the year 2011. The cut off is expected to be near around the same this time as well. However, the cut off falls in the subsequent rounds of counselling and you will be right on the borderline in the subsequent rounds of counselling. I would suggest you to take provisional admission in some other college as well as you can not afford to take a risk by depending on BITS Hyderabad for admission since your score is a bit low than what is required. The cut off for B.Pharm.(Hons.) in BITS Pilani was 227 marks last year. Good luck

Re: How good are the placements of BITS Hyderabad? HAI...  The placements in BITS hyderabad are real bad. I think most local colleges in hyderabad outshine BITS hyderabad in terms of placement. This clearly shows that the BITS brand doesnt really work and that the companies treat the BITS hyderabad as any other new college. Its shocking to know that even top ranked people failed to get places and people have to settle for jobs at CTS at a very low salary. Please be careful before u opt for BITS hyderabad only looking at its brand. Also most companies gave a very bad feedback about the quality of students at BITS hyderabad. Re: How good are the placements of BITS Hyderabad? BITS lies in the Ranks of top IIT's. Check the various surveys (Indiatoday,Dataquest,Outlook Google it.). Dont search for BITS goa the BITS ranking is for the combination of BITS Pilnai (Pilani Hyderabad Goa Campus). |

As you would be already aware that the counselling session for admission in VIT university has already begun, the seats in computer science in Vellore campus have already been completely occupied! However, 221 seats are still available in the Chennai campus so i think you have a good chance of getting CSE in the Chennai campus of VIT. Good luck
