The placements in BITS hyderabad are real bad. I think most local colleges in hyderabad outshine BITS hyderabad in terms of placement. This clearly shows that the BITS brand doesnt really work and that the companies treat the BITS hyderabad as any other new college.
Its shocking to know that even top ranked people failed to get places and people have to settle for jobs at CTS at a very low salary.

Please be careful before u opt for BITS hyderabad only looking at its brand.

Also most companies gave a very bad feedback about the quality of students at BITS hyderabad. There is lots of rot in the way the college is functioning nd giving quality education to students seems the last priority for the management!

BITS, hyderabad boasts a 90% success in the placement of its students. It also claims that about 150 large and medium sized companies visit the campus to pick up their boys. However, the list of recruiters displayed in another web page is less than 50.

what is your source ? how and why should i believe it ?

the placements are good so far. you can check the placement division in the official site if you want. more than 50 companies have so far and its only the first year of placement,microsoft has also come and recruited some. it's a great achievement. names of students , their id numbers and even the companies the got into are also available if you want.
and check the site properly, 150 companies went to pilani campus.

Can BITS also put on the website that companies like Texas Instruments didnt recruit students from BITS hyderabad as they found them to be not up to the mark? there are also lots of companies which hired more from local colleges in hyderabad than at BITS hyderabad. the administration has done its best towards spoiling the brand value of BITS

I got 13250 in vit,can i get a seat in cse(any chance)

that`s bullshit!!!!!!!!!!! bits-HYD has far better placements than any other local colleges even the very first batch was outstanding. bits is far better than NIT`s

Hello there..

As you would be already aware that the counselling session for admission in VIT university has already begun, the seats in computer science in Vellore campus have already been completely occupied!

However, 221 seats are still available in the Chennai campus so i think you have a good chance of getting CSE in the Chennai campus of VIT.

BITS lies in the Ranks of top IIT's. Check the various surveys (Indiatoday,Dataquest,Outlook Google it.). Dont search for BITS goa the BITS ranking is for the combination of BITS Pilnai (Pilani Hyderabad Goa Campus).

Hi friend

The cut off marks for the first round of counselling in BITS Hyderabad for B.Pharm.(Hons.) is 211 for the year 2011. The cut off is expected to be near around the same this time as well. However, the cut off falls in the subsequent rounds of counselling and you will be right on the borderline in the subsequent rounds of counselling.

I would suggest you to take provisional admission in some other college as well as you can not afford to take a risk by depending on BITS Hyderabad for admission since your score is a bit low than what is required. The cut off for
B.Pharm.(Hons.) in BITS Pilani was 227 marks last year.

no. there is no chance to get admission in BE(hons.) in any branch ....

I would like to tell you that BITS Hyderabad has been established four years back which means that the first batch of engineering bachelors will be passing out this year and be applying for the campus placements. So as of now there havent been any placements in BITS Hyderabad.The campus placements will be held this year for those who have completed their B.E this year.

I know a bhiyya , from mumbai , he got in bits hyderabd...nd last year was the first for which placement season occured..it was the first batch..he is CS student..

he got placed in Epic systems , for INR 16 lakh , he's 9 pointer .

i saw his degree , there's no mention of campus , degree are offered under same name bits pilani . and yes placements have been good

his family says , aal average to good student have been placed around 7 lakh..and students with high cgpa..nd average..skill set and projects..intern got aroud 12 to 16 lowest was to some guy siddharth sood with a mere 5.8 lakhs
