CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION 2012 IAS/IPS/IFC etc PRELIMINARY EXAM IS ON 20 MAY 2012 Minimum Qualification Candidate should be Graduate from recognized university. (no percentage is required just passing marks are enough) Number of Attempt General - 4 attempt OBC - 7 Attempt SC/ST - No limit on number of attempt Age Limit General - 21 to 30 yrs OBC - 21 to 33 yrs SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs Physical Standard Candidate should be physically fit Fee 50/- How to apply candiadte are required to apply online by using website http://www.upsconline.nic.in Last date for receipt of Application - 5 march 2012 For more info, www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Date of issue of application forms for prelims exam? Hope your query is regaring civil services preliminary examination. Before appearing for this exam, just check yourselves whether you are fulfilling the required eligibility criteria to appear for this exam or not. Here it is, -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear for this exam. But, they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. As per age criteria, -A candidate of OC category should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. The selection procedure which you have to go through to be placed in the civil services is by -Civil Services Aptitude Test -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview Here are the important dates regarding upcoming CSAT Exam.
