I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for M.B.A after passing diploma course. If you want to do M.B.A then you have to pass graduation with any stream with minimum 50% marks. Dear sir  You say that you have completed Diploma in Textile Technology in April 2005.,and now you are hopefully looking forward to do MBA I am so sorry ,You are not eligible for MBA.. MBA Eligibility criteria : - Minimum of 50% of marks in your graduation and 45% of marks for SC/ST students. - No age limit. - Graduation from recognized University. This is the prime requirement that you need to get in order to get the nod for eligibility criteria for your future ahead in your life. You have to be very careful regarding it and move ahead with your course. Diploma is the certified course which will let you down to move ahead with your MBA course. Therefore ,You need to go ahead with some transition course which will give you some refreshment. REGARDS... |

Master in Business Administration is three years post Graduation course in Management. So, in order to apply for MBA course first you have to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognized university. For doing any master's degree course you have to complete Bachelor's degree course. As diploma courses are not Graduation course. So, after diploma course first you have to complete your graduation then you can apply for MBA course. Without Completing Graduation how can you go for Post Graduation course. There is no college in India which gives admission to Diploma candidates in MBA course. Eligibility Criteria for MBA course:- 1)- You should have completed your Graduation in any stream. 2)- You have to appear in various entrance exams for management colleges like CAT, MAT etc. 3)- You should have to score at least 50% marks in Graduation. You need to be at least a graduate in any stream..be it arts,science or commerce.. Graduation degree in turn needs you to be a 12th pass out first so that you can go for graduation.. So,you need to follow the steps accordingly in order to pursue MBA.. Without taking these steps and attaining these minimum qualifications..you cannot do MBA.. There are various MBA entrance exams in India for admission to the best MBA colleges in India like :- CAT XAT MAT JIPMER and many more.. Universities providing distance education: 1. With the entrance result the institution may selecting the candidate according to cut off marks . So you go through for the entrance exam . and get good percentage of marks in the entrance . The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT. 'Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110 068 and at all Regional Centres, Study Centres, and IGNOUARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres. The candidates downloading the Form from website are required to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- (Rupees five hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. Unfortunatley any normal universities offering full time programmes in MBA would require their students to have completed a degree. Do not lose hope. You can still try distance education Universities like Annamalai University, Manonmanium Univeristy, IGNOU , which offers courses for which you would be eligible for. These are not MBA courses but however you would be getting a degree equivalent to an MBA. Regards, |

So, if you are a postgraduate diploma holder, then you are eligible other wise you are not eligible. If you complete just diploma course without graduation, then you are not eligible to appear for MBA. But anyway candidates who have done post graduate diploma can appear. |

Re: Are the Diploma canditates eligible for MBA? hello friend For the MBa studies a candidate must have the undergraduate dgree in the hand with good marks..So if you have the completed your post graduation diploma then you will be eligible for the course. as post graduation diploma holder are equivalent to the under graduate dgree holder,so if have this degree in your hand then you are eligible otherwise not. Hello, Well before the eligibility criteria for appearing B.ED was that even a diploma holder could do but as of now it has changed.You need to have minimum of degree in certificate from any recognized university.You can try for it after your completion of your degree.
