Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

dear sir ,

to appear in the aieee exam one must score more than 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 board exam or equivalent exam.
you have mentioned that your candidate have got 56% marks in 10+2 exam .
then he or she is allowed to attempt aieee.

or if you wanted to improve score then you will be definitely allowed for the improve mental exam.

thanks and best luck

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

Hi dear,

Yes of course...........!

If you are not satisfied with your 12th result you can appear for its improvement and also can appear for AIEEE next year. As there is 3 attempts consecutively are allowed for AIEEE.

You can also take admission in B.sc simultaneously, if any college is providing admission to you as your aggregate is low.

But, I will not suggest you to do so, because managing all 3 (B.sc, 12th improvement exam and AIEEE preparetion) will get headache for you.

However, check out if you can manage them all nicely.

Thanks

As you told me that your child has passed class 12 from CBSE and get 56% so you are of course eligible for aieee.
but your child may face problem during the placement .
so try to get good marks and get nit's.

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2011 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination (see Appendix IX) with 50% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category candidates.

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

My friend here is the eligibility criteria for AIEEE exam:

For admission through AIEEE you needs to pass in Class 12th.If you want to appear for BE/BTech entrance then you should compulsory have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. Those appearing for architecture courses should have Mathematics in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate.

50 % marks for B.Arch/B.Planning.

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

hi friend,

hi dear,
Firstly i want to tell you that AIEEE is just a exam which you can take authentically(i.e. nobody can take it at your place, since thumb impresssion is matched) . Second if even top this exam or get a considerably good rank you perhaps wont get admission in btech because of low pcm and 12 th class score. I would recommend you that if you really interest to be an engineer then please write the 12th exam again. Because if you want to keep up than its ok , you should find universities in nearby arena, who offer your required course with such a percentage.

Eligibility Criteria :-

You need to be 12th pass or Appearing for 12 board.

There is No such criteria of Minimum marks. But Don't score Less than 50% if you are opting for technical Course in Future.

You can Apply for AIEEE only for 3 consecutive times only.

any more information can be extract from www.aieee.nic.in

thanks

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

-->Yes you can go for AIEEE Exam next years also,If you are passed in 12th Standard you are Eligible for the Exam

-->You can go for B.Sc degree also side by side, but Heavy Concentration is needed to clear the All India Engineering Entrance Exam, you should not get Confused with both

-->Daily three hours of studies on Physics,Chemistry and Mathematic help you clear the Exam, but Revision is more important before One month of Exam

-->Positive Thinking makes a man Success,I hope it will happen to that Candidate, unless he worked hard for the Exam

-->Three Attempts are allowed for AIEEE Exam

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

Hello,
Their are three consecutive years where you can apply for AIEEE

FIRST: when you are in 12.

SECOND:immediate next year after 12th.

THIRDne year after you have passed 12.

if you realy want to go for preparation of AIEEE then you must give an improvement exam in 12, as your aggregate is very low.

you must understand that taking a decision like this one (going for three consecutive and all apart cources) requires a great deal of hardwork.
you must see to it and then only take a decision.

ALL THE BEST

AIEEE exam is very popular in the engineering student. The minimum marks for appearing in the 12th is 50% in PCM. According to eligibility criteria you not eligible because the minimum percentage is 50% in PCM but you have 49% in PCM.

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

There is no cut off marks for class 12 marks as such, so you can appear for the AIEEE exam.

But one thing that is bothering is that your marks are pretty low, and I think it would be really difficult for you to cope with subjects of engineering which are slightly tougher.

So if you wish to do engineering yourself, then go ahead, but if you are doing iyt because of parental pressure, then please dont as you will end up ruining your career.

Hope better sense prevails.

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

There is no cut off marks to appear for AIEEE.

The candidate is eligible to appear for AIEEE with just pass in 10+2.

It should be keep in mind that the candidate can appear for a maximum of 2 attempts and that too in 2 consecutive years.

In order to join B.Tech and B.E one must have physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects

For to join B.Arch/B.Plan, one should have mathematics compulsory at an aggregate of 50%.

Hi friend,
Yes you can take one more chance for improving your percentage and take admission in bsc. But handling all three are not so possible. So, prepare first for your equivalent exam and for aieee or any other entrance exams. Try hard and keep study.
All the best!

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam

There is no minimum cut off mentioned for appearing in the AIEEE exam. All you require is just passed out your 12th with PCM as your main subjects.

If your interested in engineering then go through AIEEE or the CET of your respective state. You can even take up BSc course separately while preparing for the AIEEE exam but i think all together it may confuse you up.

So,its better that you focus for AIEEE completely so that you can give a good score.
