Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
Yes of course...........!
If you are not satisfied with your 12th result you can appear for its improvement and also can appear for AIEEE next year. As there is 3 attempts consecutively are allowed for AIEEE. You can also take admission in B.sc simultaneously, if any college is providing admission to you as your aggregate is low. But, I will not suggest you to do so, because managing all 3 (B.sc, 12th improvement exam and AIEEE preparetion) will get headache for you. However, check out if you can manage them all nicely. dear friend,
for AIEEE, only 50% marks is required for any candidate. As you got 56% in +2, then you are eligible for AIEEE. But there are only three chances for any candidate to appear in AIEEE. & a student who take admission in B.Sc in any discipline after+2, can also appearing AIEEE, but chances will same as previous. good luck. |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
First let me assure you that your candidate can appear for the AIEEE Exams,
because the eligibility criteria to sit for AIEEE is simply 10+2 (science stream). And since two chances are allowed to each aspiring candidate, your candidate can also avail that advantage. Having said this, I'd want to ask you why you are thinking in terms of getting the candidate to join B.Sc (Home Science) or other such program. Does your candidate have a strong linking for the science subjects? Is he/she really interested in Engineering or is just yielding to outside pressure! If the candidate is a really bright student with an aptitude for Engineering, dropping a year for improvement will be worth it. If that is not the case, it will be a mere wastage of time. These days, there are thousand avenues of establishing oneself in life...Interior Decoration, Event Management, Fashion Designing, Investigative Journalism,Wildlife Photography, so on and so forth. Just let the child follow his/her heart (while providing the necessary guidance) and one day you will be proud of your association with him/her. Who knows that your candidate will not be as famous as Chef Sanjeev Kapoor or Dr Palash Sen someday! |

no problem in giving aieee with overall percentage of 56 and pcm percent 49.but problem is started when you are going for taking admission in colleges like bit meshra ,bits pillani . your candidate will not fulfill there admission criteria............ your candidate will also face problem at the time of campusing , so he can appear for its improvement .that will better for he.......... best of luck........................................ |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
hi friend,
Firstly i want to tell you that AIEEE is just a exam which you can take authentically(i.e. nobody can take it at your place, since thumb impresssion is matched) . Second if even top this exam or get a considerably good rank you perhaps wont get admission in btech because of low pcm and 12 th class score. I would recommend you that if you really interest to be an engineer then please write the 12th exam again. Because if you want to keep up than its ok , you should find universities in nearby arena, who offer your required course with such a percentage. |

yes the eligibility for the person in AIEEE exam is minimum 50% marks . so you can opt for it. but if you are not satisfied you can give the exam even after one year the criteria will remain same every time so dont worry about it. yes in the mean while if at so low % of marks if you are getting admission in any college for the b.sc you can eveytime opt that.

Hello,
there are only 50% marks required for appearing for the AIEEE exam. So you are eligible for the exam.If you wish to prepare for AIEEE then you can take coaching for that. You can drop one year for the preparation for AIEEE and take simultaneous admission in the B.sc courses for safe side. |

don't worry.you can appear for AIEEE exam.for AIEEE exam the minimum marks to be obtained is 45% in 12th board.just you have to pass in 12th. also if you want to increase your marks in 12th then you can go for improvement. also mind that in AIEEE exam only 3 attempts are allowed including the year of your passing 12th board. its my suggestion that please don't think about taking admission in B.sc. always have one goal.certainly you will win. good luck. |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
Hello sir!
Your candidate needs to get good marks in +12 without failing in AIEEE exam and as we all know that AIEEE exam can be given three times in a row that means in consecutive years. All you need to do is to get fair marks in AIEEE in these attempts and one more thing you need to remember is previous years AIEEE result is invalid for admission. So its better when you get good rank then you have to attend the admission procedure. All the information regarding AIEEE will be available in their official site http://www.aieee.nic.in/ All the best! |

I strongly recommend to lay back and write improvement exam to improve +2 percentage. Mean while prepare for AIEEE also. But don't go for courses like B.Sc and as such at the moment. This may cause heavy load to the candidate, as he/she has been very poor in her studies. Let him/her waste an year but come up with a good percentage and good knowledge as well. otherwise the career of the candidate will not be smooth. In the long run, you can realize its benefits. So think carefully and make a wise decision. All the best. Regards, MASK |

dear friends.
why you are getting worry. you are eligible for the aieee examination. because for the aieee examiantion the minimum qualification is 12th with 50% marks so you are eligible.but if you are taking about the iit then for that the meminum marks should be 60%. and for that you have to get the 60% marks in the improvement exams. |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
There is no minimum cut off mentioned for appearing in the AIEEE exam. All you require is just passed out your 12th with PCM as your main subjects.
If your interested in engineering then go through AIEEE or the CET of your respective state. You can even take up BSc course separately while preparing for the AIEEE exam but i think all together it may confuse you up. So,its better that you focus for AIEEE completely so that you can give a good score. all the best |

Yes you can take one more chance for improving your percentage and take admission in bsc. But handling all three are not so possible. So, prepare first for your equivalent exam and for aieee or any other entrance exams. Try hard and keep study. All the best! |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
There is no cut off marks to appear for AIEEE.
The candidate is eligible to appear for AIEEE with just pass in 10+2. It should be keep in mind that the candidate can appear for a maximum of 2 attempts and that too in 2 consecutive years. In order to join B.Tech and B.E one must have physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects For to join B.Arch/B.Plan, one should have mathematics compulsory at an aggregate of 50%. |

Re: Minimum 12th cut off marks for appearing in AIEEE exam
There is no cut off marks for class 12 marks as such, so you can appear for the AIEEE exam.
But one thing that is bothering is that your marks are pretty low, and I think it would be really difficult for you to cope with subjects of engineering which are slightly tougher. So if you wish to do engineering yourself, then go ahead, but if you are doing iyt because of parental pressure, then please dont as you will end up ruining your career. Hope better sense prevails. |
