Yes of course you are eligible to give this exam. The percentage you have acquired at post graduation level is more than enough to sit for this exam. To know more about the exam please read on.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Only graduates can apply for this course. You need to get the degree from a recognized university.
The subject you choose at graduation level is of little importance here.
The minimum percentage to obtain has not been mentioned so if you have the pass marks then count yourself in.
You need to have a certificate in Computer Operations to prove that you have the basic computer knowledge to do the work smoothly.
You need to know how to speak and write fluently in the local language of the State where you have applied.

Age Limit:-

~Minimum Age Limit: 21 years.
~Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.

Upper Age Limit Relaxation:-

~SC/ST Candidates: 5 years.
~OBC Candidates: 3 years.
~PWD Candidates: 10 years.

Selection Procedure:-

The SBI PO Exam comprises of the following stages:-

Written Examination
Group Discussion & Interview

Exam Pattern:-

There are four sections under objective test and for each section 50 marks have been allotted. So the total marks allotted is 200 and to complete the whole paper you will get only two hours to complete the paper.

For the descriptive section you will get one hour to finish the paper. This paper aims at testing your English language. In this test you need to write comprehension, short precis, letter writing and essay for a given topic.

Areas of Weightage:

English language
General awareness, Marketing and computers
Data analysis and interpretation
Reasoning

Final Selection :- All those candidates who will get pass in Written test and Interview will be finally selected for this post.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO Examination ::

Applicant should be Qualified in Under Graduation course in any faculty from recognized university which is approved by UGC .. Final year candidate as well as Waiting for Final semester result may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination ..

Applicant age should be Minimum 21 years but Maximum 30 years and Upper Age Relaxation will be given up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST and for others as per Govt norms.

you are not eligible for SBI exam for PROBATIONARY..as minimum eligiblity criteria is One must completed his graduation with atleast of 55% aggreagate and 12th class with a percentage of 60% for probationary.. and you have 58% in 12th class.... and

for clerical one need to clear 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60%..(or in highest degree)but

i think you can be elgible for CLerical as accarding to heighest degree
you have 68% but not for probationary officer....

yes your academical record is good and your marks are up to date so you areeligible and can apply for SBI PO exam.

Education qualifications Required:

You must have 10+2 with 60% of marks for general candidates
55% of marks enough in 10+2 for SC/ST Candidates
4.Diploma Candidates(Regular) also eligible for this job

Age Limit for SBI Exam 2012

Your age must be 18 to 28 years for general candidates as on 01-12-2011
5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST Candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates.

Yes, you can aaply for Bank exam

apply through common enterance bank exam:

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Bank PO Educational Qualification
The candidate must have Graduate or equivalent degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Age Criteria
For general Category students - 21 to 30 years
For SC/ST- There is a provision of age relaxation of 5 years means they can appear upto the age of 35 years.
For OBC Candidate - There is a provision of age relaxation of 3 years so they can appear upto the age of 33 years.
For PD candidate - Age relaxation upto 10 years.
For ex-servicemen/Disable ex-servicemen - they can appear upto the age of 50 years.

SBI PO minimum criteria is 60% through out carrer.

but you have inconsistent carrer so you have not sit in SBI PO.

but you sit oyher bank exam who required 55% in carrer like PNB,BOB,ANDHRA ETC>

BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

the percentage of graduation is not required. You can apply easily.

You are eligible to take other bank PO exams like in bank of Baroda, Canara Bank,Bank of India, Allahabad Bank, etc.

as per me is concern you are not eligible to apply for SBI bank PO exam as they demand minimum 55% in graduation and 60% in 12th.And you are not fulfilling the criteria

SBI has a criteria of 60 % all over.since you don't have that i dont think that you are eligible.
but dont loose heart because there are other banking exams as well with lesser cut off try for that.

Friend,
If you want to apply in SBI PO exam,then you should have 60% marks in graduation.if you belongs to non general category then you get some reservation.
The candidates who scored 60% marks in Graduation will be eligible to apply in SBI PO exam.
As you mention here you have 45% marks in graduation .Sorry to say you can not apply in SBI PO with 45% marks.

my dear friend i thinkn you are not eligible for state bank of india po's.Because you were poor in your graduation marks.As per my knowledge 55%is necessary for writting an exam of sbi po's.So don't worry will you try sbi clerical post.Because the reason is the clerical ost minimum qualification is 55% in intermediatr(12).so you can try SBI clerical post.All the best

Sir you got 70% marks in 10th standard,58% in 12th,45% in graduation and 68% in post graduation.

but you are not satisfy all the criteria's of SBI bank PO exam.
So you can not apply for Bank PO exam SBI but you can try for the PO post of other BANKS.

the minimum criteria to appear in the bank PO exam is first class degree in graduation . So i am very sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in the exam of Bank PO.

no you can not apply for Bank PO exam SBI btu you can try for the PO post of other BANKS.such as corporation bank, axis bank etc

Yes you will be eligible to able to apply for this test. In the notification the bank has mentioned that graduates can apply. There is no mention of the minimum marks. But since your score is low, you need to work towards attaining a high score in the test. Also being well prepared for the interview round is a must.
