Re: What is the Age Limit to join Defence? Hi dear, To join in Defence your age should be in between 17-30 years. And the minimum age required may vary from job to job. Any way if you are above 10 years you can get membership in defence jobs. And as the time goes on you may update your details there by you will be invited for several jobs in defence through email and by phone. Wish you all the best. Thanks |

Re: What is the Age Limit to join Defence? Sir, sory you are not eligible if you are want to join NDA the age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years. You can join other than NDA. In other mode of joining defence age limit is 25 years. All the best. |

Re: What is the Age Limit to join Defence? Yes, you are eligible for joining CDS, but for this you should have a graduate degree from any govt. affiliated university. You have to appear in the entrance of CDSE for this. For more information you can log on to www.upsc.nic.in. |

Re: What is the Age Limit to join Defence? The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is conducted twice a year. Through CDS examination you can choose anyone of Indian Military Academy or Naval Academy or Air Force Academy or Officers Training Academy The eligibility criteria is different for different academies. The educational qualification required for IMA and OTA is Graduation degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognised University . The educational qualification required for Air Force Academy and Naval Academy is Graduation degree from a Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. The age limit for different academies are as follow; IMA: 19-23 years Naval: 19-22 years Airforce: 19-23 years OTA: 19-25 years. The notification for next CDS exam i.e. CDS(II) 2011 will be published on April 30th, 2011. The last date of applyng would be May 30th, 2011. You can apply for various defense service exams if you are a graduate. Exam such as CDSE is one of from the in which you can apply. For qualification and for other details you have to visit its official website. The complete detail will be easily obtained from there. Here I am giving you the details of CDSE exam since you have not write your qualification: Indian Military Academy, Dehradun Vacancies: 250 Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. Educational qualification: Any degree Age: Applicants should be born between 2nd January, 1988 and 1st January, 1993 Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Vacancies: 40 Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering Age: The applicant should be born between 2nd January 1990 and 1st January 1993. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad Vacancies: 32 Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates Educational Qualification: Engineering Degree of Any degree with Mathematics and Physics in Intermediate. Age: Should be born between 2nd January, 1989 and 1st January, 1993 Officers Training Academy (for men), Chennai Vacancies: 175 Educational Qualification: Any degree Age: Should be born between 2nd January, 1987 and 1st January, 1993 Officer Training Academy (for Women), Chennai Vacancies: 25 Educational qualification: Any Degree Age: Should be born between 2nd January, 1987 and 1st January, 1993 Application Fee: Candidates who are applying online should pay Rs.50 in any of the SBI branch. You are not eligible for enlistment to the Defence Forces if you are under 17 years of age on the date of application. The upper age limit for enlistment in the Army /Air Corps is 25 years of age on the date of enlistment. The upper age limit for enlistment in the Naval Service is under 27 years of age on the date of enlistment. good luck. |

Re: What is the Age Limit to join Defence? you are not elligible to join defence acadmy through NDA exam as its minimum age requirement is 16 1/2 and maximum is 19 years but you are already of 22. however you can sit in the exams like CDS after completing your graduation. |

now sorry to say that you have only 1 entry as a officer i am saying , its TGC entry scheme and its age limit is from 20 years to 27 age but need not to worry you can join MES too, and direct entry in army as lower level from sepoi . for this you need to pass some physical standard test and medical test. good luck |
