i am 22 years old am i eligible enough to join the defence..???

You are not eligible for enlistment to the Defence Forces if you are under 17 years of age on the date of application.
The upper age limit for enlistment in the Army /Air Corps is 25 years of age on the date of enlistment.
The upper age limit for enlistment in the Naval Service is under 27 years of age on the date of enlistment.

yes you are eligible for join defense,but you will get degree in any affiliated university in India(India citizen).and you have any additional qualification for ncc,nss etc.but also you keep physical fitness,these thing you will have eligible to join in defence .

It depends on which field u choose if You are doing Graduation then you can apply for CDS exam

defence is combination of Army,Navy Airforce,Coast Guard,BSF.And age limit varies with qualifications.For Science Graduates age limit is 23 yrs,for engineers it is 25 yrs, for University Entry Scheme age limit is 28 yrs,for LLB graduates it is 28 yrs in Army.

According to this if you meet the requirement then you are eligible to apply.

You are just 22 year of age at the moment, you are still haveing enouh opportunities to join defence and paramilitary forces if you fulfils all the eligibilty conditons and physicaly as well mentally fit and fine.

yes, there are limits differ for each Service.For defence the age range for entry as 19 to 30 years.

sure... you can join defence..

the maximum age limit to the defence depends on the job you are going to work..

but you are young.. so surely you are eligible to join the defence

To join in Defence your age should be in between 17-30 years. And the minimum age required may vary from job to job.

Any way if you are above 10 years you can get membership in defence jobs. And as the time goes on you may update your details there by you will be invited for several jobs in defence through email and by phone.

well you are 22 years old..
now sorry to say that you have only 1 entry as a officer i am saying , its TGC entry scheme and its age limit is from 20 years to 27 age
but need not to worry you can join MES too,
and direct entry in army as lower level from sepoi .

for this you need to pass some physical standard test and medical test.

you are not elligible to join defence acadmy through NDA exam as its minimum age requirement is 16 1/2 and maximum is 19 years but you are already of 22. however you can sit in the exams like CDS after completing your graduation.

It is possible for you to apply for various indian defense service exam if you are a graduate student. You can apply for various defense service exams if you are a graduate.
Exam such as CDSE is one of from the in which you can apply. For qualification and for other details you have to visit its official website. The complete detail will be easily obtained from there.

Here I am giving you the details of CDSE exam since you have not write your qualification:
Indian Military Academy, Dehradun

Vacancies: 250

Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

Educational qualification: Any degree

Age: Applicants should be born between 2nd January, 1988 and 1st January, 1993

Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala

Vacancies: 40

Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering

Age: The applicant should be born between 2nd January 1990 and 1st January 1993.

Air Force Academy, Hyderabad

Vacancies: 32

Eligibility: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification: Engineering Degree of Any degree with Mathematics and Physics in Intermediate.

Age: Should be born between 2nd January, 1989 and 1st January, 1993

Officers Training Academy (for men), Chennai

Vacancies: 175

The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is conducted twice a year.
Through CDS examination you can choose anyone of

Indian Military Academy or
Naval Academy or
Air Force Academy or

The eligibility criteria is different for different academies.

The educational qualification required for IMA and OTA is
Graduation degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognised University .

The educational qualification required for Air Force Academy and Naval Academy is
Graduation degree from a Recognized University
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

The age limit for different academies are as follow;
IMA:
19-23 years
Naval:
19-22 years
Airforce:
19-23 years
OTA:
19-25 years.

The notification for next CDS exam i.e. CDS(II) 2011
will be published on April 30th, 2011.

The last date of applyng would be May 30th, 2011.

Sir, sory you are not eligible if you are want to join NDA the age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years. You can join other than NDA. In other mode of joining defence age limit is 25 years.
