Educational Qualifications required to apply for Indian Engineering Services (IES) exams is: >> BE/BTECH pass in any stream OR >> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers Or >> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers Age- Minimum 21 years Maximum 30 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Next IES Exam will be held from 28th June 2013 Forms are being filled right now Last date to apply is 6th May 2013 |

Civil Engineering 4.) Mechanical Engineering If you are engineer from any stream, then you can write the exam but you have to choose between the above four options. Thanks |

S --but can appear if u feel like covering the syllabus all the best |

Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics and communication.... but students from any stream can sit for IES, but they have to choose one of the above stream as their subject.... for example, if an IT student wants to give the exam, he/she can do that, but he/she has to choose any one the above stream (say electrical) as their subject and has to prepare according to the chosen stream (here its electrical)...
