you should be an civil/mechanical/electronics/electrical engineering student are eligible for all the posts in ies...where are for some posts candidates holding M.Sc degree in Wireless communication,electronics,radio physics and radio engineerings are eligible...

1.) Electronics and Communication Engineering 2.) Electrical Engineering 3.) Civil Engineering 4.) Mechanical Engineering If you are engineer from any stream, then you can write the exam but you have to choose between the above four options. |

Four branches are available as IES subjects.....
Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics and communication.... but students from any stream can sit for IES, but they have to choose one of the above stream as their subject.... for example, if an IT student wants to give the exam, he/she can do that, but he/she has to choose any one the above stream (say electrical) as their subject and has to prepare according to the chosen stream (here its electrical)... --AGE limit-->between 21 to 30 --IES Eligiblity - --For Indian Economic Service- A Post-graduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics. --For Indian Statistical Service - A Post-graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics. --But The IES Does Not conducts the Paper of CSE. S --but can appear if u feel like covering the syllabus all the best |
