Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? sir I am from Karnataka and my cast is lingayat panchamasali, and my son completed his education 1 to 12th in Andhra Pradesh. and he scored 90 marks in JEE Mains. In Andhra Pradesh other state students cast category is OC but in Karnataka our cast comes under 3-B category(OBC) because of my husband job we are here in this what is my son mistake sir, please give me suggestions . |

Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? I have uploaded old OBC certificate of mine of 2013 and already paid fees also. where as it was asked to submit a new certificate of 2014. Can anybody say what i have to do now? |

It will take some time for my obc ncl certificate to be made before which registration for jee advance 2015 would close .What can i do... i opted obc ncl for jee mains.. |

Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? i am an obc candidate .I have cleared IIT (Main) 2013 and appeared for IIT (Advanced) 2013 on 2nd June 2013. But if by chance i am not able to get my new obc certificate ready by the time of declaring result, will my selection be rejected? |

Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? OBC is not required to be attached in the form but it must be mentioned in the place where your caste is required to be mentioned in the application form of iitjee as your ranking can be counted in OBC Quota approved by the government. |

SIR, I belong to OBC(CREAMY LAYER) but while registration(online) i have filled it as OBC(NCL).So I can't produce the OBC(NCL) certificate in the format issued by IIT this year- 2012.so whether i will be considered in general category to appear the exam?or my form will be rejected?can i register again?plzzzz send a quick reply......SNIGDHA |

Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? question- i m having my obc certificate in my local format as issued by bihar govt. this is in hindi language which also prescribing my parents income. but iit obc format given in brochure is in hindi and in it there is no any column prescribing parents income. will it acceptable? |

Hi dear, Yes, it is compulsory, if you belong the OBC caste then please attach your OBC certificate with IIT-JEE application form, and you have to also show your OBC caste certificate at the time of councelling also. Re: OBC caste certificate required with IIT JEE form? It is not required to submit any OBC caste certificate for IIT-JEE application form. You just need a tick mark in the catagory column. And you can show the orignal OBC certificate and the xerox copy at the counseling (which is isssued/renewed within 6 manth of the councilling date. |

So read it carefully. Ifthey ask to send it then you can attach the photocopy ofone others you only need to mention and they will checkit duringcounselling |
