Sir i am 14 year old and i have an case of right hand fracture in this year and a flexible nail is present in the bone for permanent. There is no pain or anything power is equal in both hands. Can i join indian air force as an officer. Please Answer. |

Re: How can I join as Officer in Indian Air Force being a candidate from 10+2 in Science? hi, Being a candidate from 10+2 Science you can join as an officer in Indian Air Force through applying, appearing and cracking the entrance examination of NDA(National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC two times a year as NDA-I and NDA-II. In order to be eligible for Indian Air Force wing of NDA, the first and foremost eligibility criteria is the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male. He should have either appear for the 10+2 final exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board, He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical and Mental physique. The selection is through written exam, personal inerview, Physical Fitness test and finally through Medical Test. The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fees for exam. |

This exam is every year two times conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Here in NDA exam 2other wings also commenced at a time every year then total three wings in NDA exam. Differant types of wings in NDA:- Indian airforce, Indian navy, Indian army. The requirements and eligibility details to apply this exam is given below. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from an aggregate board. To apply airforce or navy you must have complete your 12th standard with PCM subjects and here there is no such percentage restrictions to apply this exam. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years. You must be a citizen of india and physically fit. Only unmarried male candidates can only eligible for this exam i.e girls are not eligible. Besides these there are many physical standards also which you must satisfy I suggest you to check these before applying. I am mentioning some of the important factors - The minimum acceptable height 162.5 cm for air force. Some relaxation is provided to candidates from lakashdweep, North east region etc. Ear, nose throat and even teeth must be in good condition also. The candidate applying for air force must have an uncorrected vision of 6/6 and 6/9 and corrected vision of 6/6. However the candidate must not be suffering from Myopia. Some special requirements for air force pilot are leg length of 99cm to 120 cm, thigh length upto a maximum of 64 cm and sitting height of 81.5 to 96 cm. Dear Friend , If you want to join Indian Air Force As an Officer then you must have to qualify the National defense Academy Exam which is conducted twice in a year by the Union Public Service Commission as per your educational qualification. In order to be eligible to appear for the exam , you must have to fulfill the basic required criteria in order to be eligible for the same : * You must have completed your +2 exam with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board. * You must have Physics , chemistry and mathematics as your compulsory subjects in 12th. * Your age must be in between 16.5-19 if appearing for NDA otherwise should be in between 16.5-21 years. * You must have Indian Nationality. Flying Branch, 2. Technical Branch, 3. Ground Duty Branch. As you want to become a pilot so you are in Flying Duty branch. Now i have suggest you the eligible criteria for this aspect which are given below : 1. Age :: 19 to 23 years as on 01 july 2012 i.e. born between 2nd july 1989 to 1 july 1993(both dates inclusive). 2. Educational Qualification :: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed 10+2 th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together. 3. Physical Standard :: i.) Height : minimum 162.5 cm and more than this ii.) Weight : in between 60 to 80 kg iii.)
