Re: Required Qualification to join Navy? Hello dude... It is good to join in navy, and you have a better carrer in this.. To join Navy, you will have to appear for NDA examination(after completion of 12th) or CDS examination(after completion of graduation). The eligibility criteria required for Navy wing are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 12th with PCM from any accredited board for NDA examination. * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university for CDS examination. * Age limit:- 16.5-19 yrs for NDA. * Age limit:- 19-22 yrs for CDS(Navy). * Sex:- Only male for NDA. * Sex:- Both male and female for CDS. * Marital status:- Unmarried or single. * Nationality:- Indian. * Physically and mentally fit.  The educational qualifications regarding with Navy are below mentioned:- * Opponents must have finished bachelor degree with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from any approved institution. * Opponents of last year are also preferable for this exam. * The relaxation of age is assumed for OBC opponents is 3 years and SC/ST opponents is 5 years. * The age of opponents must be lie in between 16.5-19 years. * Opponents must be physically fit. * opponents must be an unmarried male. * Opponents must have an Indian citizenship. It is nice to hear that you are interested to join defence sector(Navy). To join Navy, you will have to appear for NDA examination(after completion of 12th) or CDS examination(after completion of graduation). Educational Qualifications : - You must have a 12th standard from a recognised university Age Eligibility : - Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, no relaxation for this Examination Nationality : - You should be a citizen of India Maritial Status : - Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination Selection Procedure : - ** Written Exam ** Interview ** Medical test.......etc *****all the best***** Regards........ Re: Required Qualification to join Navy? qualifications for NDA 2 EXAMINATION; NDA HAVE 3 WINGS air wing and navy: you should pass 12th having maths and physics. age limit is 16.5-19yrs. army wing: you should pass 12th no subject barrier, age limit is 16.5-19yrs. NDA II 2012 application was started on 4-5-2012, and closed on 4-6-2012, now it is late to apply , but you are eligible to apply for NDA I ,next year if you age don't exceeds 19 yrs, it is the maximum age to apply for NDA. Re: Required Qualification to join Navy? Sir,after +2 you also join the indian navy. age limit is upto 21 years, after the graduation u give the cds exam. other wise indian navy directly open the vacancies . please update with employment news paper. best wishes for the future. |

This exam conducted by the union public service commission twice in a year. i.e, NDA-I and NDA-II NDA has three wings Indian army Navy Indian Air force ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Nationality: The candidate should be citizen of india. Educational Qualification: the candidate should have the 12th standard from any recognized state board of india. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible for this exam. Only science stream students are eligible for the navy and air force. Physics chemistry and mathematics are the compulsory subjects to the navy and air force. Age limit: the age limit should be between the 16.5 to 19 years. Gender: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Girls are not eligible for this exam. Physical standard: the candidate physically and medically fit for this exam. Re: Required Qualification to join Navy? To join Navy you need to give NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice in a yeari.e. NDA-I and NDA-II. NDA has three wings: Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Educational Qualifications : (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. Age criteria: Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years. There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Nationality:Citizen of india. The entrance is conducted twice in an year and in each turn there are 39 vacancies in Navy For Navy you must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics subjects. there is No limit for minimum percentage. The Age of the candidate must be between 16.5 and 19 years. Also only unmarried candidates are eligible for it. you must also be eligible as per these physical standards. there are some other standards also like - - The candidate must have corrected and uncorrected vision of 6/6 - Myopia must not be more than -0.75 and hypermetropia must not be more than +1.5 D -The Limits set for Colour Perception is I -The candidate must have binocular vision of III |
