Re: Required Percentage of Marks to apply for IES Exam?

IES - INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE conducted by UPSC once every year for recruitment of engineers in the top technical post under Central Govt.

There is no requirement of any percentage of marks for IES.

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam in any stream of Engineering or pass from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview.

The written exam is based on the subjects from Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication branch.

So candidate from other stream of engineering other then the above streams can apply for IES but they have to write exam for any one of the above streams.
