Academic Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO :- You must have completed graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and you must secure at least 60% aggregate marks ( 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories ) . You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years and Upper age limits is applicable . You can apply for Bank PO exam through IBPS PO and SBI PO examination . IBPS PO Criteria :- You should have qualified their graduate degree with any desire subject of a reputed University or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required for this examination . Your age should be between 20 years to 30 years and relaxation is given to the reserved categories . IBPS PO pattern :- Reasoning , English Language , General knowledge , Quantitative Aptitude , English Language and Descriptive type questions . IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination is conducted for recruitment of 19 public sector banks . This year notification was already released on 03/03/12 and last date for receipt of application was already closed on 30/03/12 . The examination will be held on 17/06/12 . SBI PO Criteria :- You should have qualified their graduate degree with any desire subject of a reputed University or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required for this examination . Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university. Some banks wants 60% marks in graduation, so it's better to score good percentage in your graduation. Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible for this exam. Age criteria:- The age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. However merely applying for CWE appearing for the examination does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks. For CWE Please note that the eligibility criteriaspecified is the basic criteria for applying to various Public Sector Banks. Prospective Candidates shouldensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE): Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came overto India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv)& (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Dear friend, If you are interested in BANK PO Then you must have these criteria BANK PO CRITERIA : 1.Academic Qualification : The candidate must compete graduation with decent marks For SC/ST/OBC candidate there is percentage relaxation For some banks like SBI they want 60% marks in graduation. So try to keep above 60% marks . But you also have these criteria 1.Your age must be within 21 to 30 years. For SC/ST/OBC candidate there is age relaxation 2.You should not have any pending backlogs All the best.... |

Re: Academic eligibility criteira for Bank PO?  hi,The banking sectors should conducts the bank exams separately for bank PO and clerk.If you are interested in the bank PO examination you must complete the graduation from any recognized university. Eligibility for PO: You must complete the graduation with 55% of marks from any recognized university. Your age should not more than 30 years and not less than 21 years.The upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates. You must have the good communication skills. You must speak the English fluently.And you speak the 3 languages fluently... Age limitations: 3 years for OBC 5 years for ST/Sc 5 years for Ex-service man 10 years for PH-candidates. So don't worry you can go for bank SBI PO and clerk examination. Good lk........... |
