Re: How much is the salary of Leutinant to join Indian Army? To be true a Army liutenant Officer not earn Rs 60,000 pm as everyone said . Most of allowances are given once in 2-3 yrs. Actually they earn less than Rs 25,000. There are more better jobs with less qualificaton and huge amount of money |

UES(University Entry Scheme):- The final year appearing candidate can apply for the UES & age limit for the UES is 19 to 23 years. Candidate should not have any backlog in previous semesters. The qualification required for UES is graduation and you are doing B.TECH so you are perfectly eligible for the UES exam.The selection process contains no written exam there is only interview and after that medical exam. CDS (Combined Defense Services ):- Age limit for the CDS is 19 to 25 years. And the minimum qualification required to apply for the CDS exam is graduation. final year candidates are not allowed to apply for the exam.Selection procedure has a written exam and after that interview and then medical exam.
