Grade Pay-Rs 64800
Military Service Pay-Rs 72000
Kit Maintenance Allowance-Rs 4800
Transport Allowance-Rs 19200
Field Area Allowance-Rs 81360
Counter Insurgency-Rs 75600

Apart from what have been mentioned above, there are various other perks included in the salary of a Lieutenant in Indian Army.

In TES one can get Lieutenant after 4 years training. Is training period salary time salary would be provided after getting POP?, if yes than who much

If you are a b.tech student and want to join Indian army then dear you can apply for UES and CDS exam to join defense services.

UES(University Entry Scheme):- The final year appearing candidate can apply for the UES & age limit for the UES is 19 to 23 years. Candidate should not have any backlog in previous semesters. The qualification required for UES is graduation and you are doing B.TECH so you are perfectly eligible for the UES exam.The selection process contains no written exam there is only interview and after that medical exam.

CDS (Combined Defense Services ):- Age limit for the CDS is 19 to 25 years. And the minimum qualification required to apply for the CDS exam is graduation. final year candidates are not allowed to apply for the exam.Selection procedure has a written exam and after that interview and then medical exam.

There are more better jobs with less qualificaton and huge amount of money

As a captain you will earn less than Rs 30,000.
