Re: Do BCA graduates get only BPO jobs mostly? hi iam a bca graduate in 2015 and have a great interst in working in it company but the problem is that i have 47% in H.S and also have financial problem due to which i cant purchue my mca so please suggest me what to do? |

Many MNC companies take even BCA students too but the requirement for BCA candidate is very less thats why student jump into BPO jobs but that doesn't mean BPO are only for BCA.. To get more opportunity you can do MCA ...as it is having high demand... |

Re: Do BCA graduates get only BPO jobs mostly? Am also a BCA graduate, passed out in 2010. Soon after got job in BPO, served there for 5 months. But I was dedicated to get settled in Software, Soon after I got an offer in MNC. Now am working here, its 17 days to complete my 1year here. And also am doing MCA in correspondence in Mysore university, in parallel I will do some certifications. That will help me to build my career and for my Appraisals. My Opinion is BCA is the Best option to go, for hardworking middle class background students, rather spending lot of money in doing BE or BTech. |

Not only that they are giving me the work which the mca people are doing. And my salary is more than that of mca people because i am having 6 month of experience. and they are just fresher. And alos apart from this i am doing MCA from IGNOU.... SO IF YOU HAVE TALENT,INTEREST IN SOFTWARE FIELDS >>YOU CAN EASILY EARN LAKHS OF MONEY WITH BCA DEGREE ALSO.. --I recommend you, you try to get job in some company after your bca degree and do MCA from IGNOU.. GOOD LUCK |

Re: Do BCA graduates get only BPO jobs mostly? actually not that.but present fact is that all students after passing BCA they all go for BPO jobs,because that is easily avaliable.some of students also go for MCA or MBA.and rest gone for training about JAVA,.NET like technica; related course and find a suitable job for them.so if you wish to do BCA then just try to go for technical purpose. all the best. |

Dear friend it is true in some respect but not in all because after completing b.c.a , you can join software companies if you are good in programing and software development field. otherwise you can do professional courses like M.C.A, and can make your career in good software companies. some fundamental programming languages are- C,C++, JAVA, .NET, e.t.c |

After completing BCA, they have job options in computer field also.They can look for some junior level jobs in Java, J2EE, C++, Dot Net or Mainframes or any other technology in which they are proficient. But job is not advisable after BCA since it has limited scope. Pursuing higher education will enhance the career porospects If you are interested in teaching or education field then MCA would be a good for you. If you want to enhance your professional and managerial skills then MBA is good for you. |

Keep an eye on placements for BCA graduates in other local colleges and on your coll.You can get surely a job into software.But dont blame without proper preparation of the communication skills and aptitude. |

Re: Do BCA graduates get only BPO jobs mostly? this is absolutely wrong dear BCA is not meant for BPO's only there are many more sector where they can go they can go in development sector and testing sector and application sector the only requirement is that you may be capable enough to face the opportunities your technical knowledge should be sound enough to handle interview apart from that you may go for trouble shooting job that is tech support companies . people often gets confused in tech support and BPO but tech support is different job than BPO the only thing is that when you go for job after BCA itself than package would be less of you want to grasp a good package you may opt for either MCA or MBA both degree are good and add's a bulky wattage in your carrier as well as in job profile. all the best |

Re: Do BCA graduates get only BPO jobs mostly? If you want to know percent wise then 80% it is true but 20% it is meant for another field like teaching, banks etc.but if you opt a higher education and completed your MCA then so many other fields opens for you which will not go to BPO. |

There are so many sectors you can join like the application programmer,database developer,network administrator,system programmer etc. Just go around the business market in the software industry you can find lot of jobs. Beside this as the market in India has started growing in a good pace you can easily get a number of options. So there is nothing like BCA graduates only get jobs in the BPO sector.. It would be much better for you in case of getting jobs,if you had completed your MCA course also. That could give you large job openings and choices.. Go friend, find your kind of job according to your interest and capability. All the best! |
