I got 95 marks in english subject and my overall percentage is 74.2% in 12th class from cbse board exams. So i wanna i ask can i get admission in delhi university. I am from commerce stream. Please reply as soon as posssible.

Can only science students apply for mass communication in St.Xaviers? I'm currently a class 12 student and my stream is Humanities...will I be eligible for mass Comm. in St.Xavier's? Also I have fine arts as one of my subjects...so will the marks of that subject be taken into account?

St Xavier College Kolkata offers 3 years full time course in Mass Communication & Videography.This course is divided into six semester.Total intake for this course in this college is 115.To take admission in this course you will required to fulfill these eligibility conditions :

Candidates who belong from the General Category should have a minimum of 70% marks in Intermediate.

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Examination results.Those candidates who will get pass in this entrance exam will only be able to take admission in this course.

Exam Pattern for Entrance exam :

Questions will be asked from the five sections.
Total marks will be 200.
Total number of questions will be 100.
Total duration of this entrance exam will be 2 hours.

Exam Syllabus for Entrance Exam :

Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning.
Numerical ability.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
History and Geography.
English Comprehension.

excuse me sir... i m subhankar nd my residency is jamshedpur.. state jharkhand.. nd i wnt 2 know dat, i m da student of arts stream.. i have got 321 marks dat is 64.2 % in jac board in 12th examination, nd i wnt 2 take admission in st.xavier for doing mass communication.. would it possible.. i will get it.. i have got 60% in english.. plz rply..

to understand the profession better and to do any media course, u can read How to Become a Good Journalist (Author: Raza Elahi); Price: Rs 250 (hardbind).
