I'm a student of XII humanities and will be appearing for ISC 2012. I'm planning to do either Mass Communication and Videography(MCV) or Multimedia and Animation in St. Xaviers College, Kolkata. Can you please tell me the minimum % required for these courses? Can you also tell me when and how will I get the admission forms for both the courses?

Student willing to pursue Under graduate level course in Mass Communication and Videography and Multimedia and Animation from St. Xaviers college-Kolkata, must have passed the +2 level of exam with an aggregate of 60% marks beside having English as a compulsory subject and getting a minimum of 45% marks in each of the subjects. Admission test will followed by Interview.

The test will comprise of following departments:
Mass Communication and Videography-General awareness, Knowledge of Media and Test of Creativity
Multimedia and Animation-Test of Creativity and Drawing Skills.

St Xavier College Kolkata offers 3 years full time course in Mass Communication & Videography.This course is divided into six semester.Total intake for this course in this college is 115.To take admission in this course you will required to fulfill these eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out with any discipline from recognized board/university.
• English should be your compulsory subject in 10+2.

Note :

• 50% seats will be reserved for the candidates who belong from the state of Kolkata.
• You should have more then 2 years of study gap.

Marks required :

• Candidates who belong from the General Category should have a minimum of 70% marks in Intermediate.
• Candidates who belong from the Backward category should have a minimum of 65% marks in Intermediate.
• Candidates who belong from the SC/ST category should have a minimum of 55% marks in Intermediate.
