Dear friend The candidate should be complete the Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university and final year candidate also eligible for this exam. and there is no minimum percentage is not require for this UPSC examination's. |

Re: Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exam? Eligibility for IPS exam You must be 21 years (minimum) and 30 years (maximum) at the time of taking exam. SC/ST/OBC and ex-servicemen are given exemption of 3 to 5 years in maximum age limit. People belonging to general category can appear for IPS exam four times, while OBCs can appear for seven times but no limit has been set for SC/ST. keep in mind, even appearing in just exam is counted as an attempt. You also need to meet physical standards mentioned in application form. |

Age limit is 21 to 30 years for open categories ans 21 to 33 for sc/st. Open category candidate can attempt for 4 times ans sc/st can apply for 7 times. Height must have 165cm for men and 150cm for women. |

Re: Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exam? my dear.................. eligibility criteria for IAS IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service IAS is conducted by UPSC every year. And this will be done in 3stages namely Prelims Mains and Interview Every time a tough competition will be done in UPSC for various posts like IAS,IPS,IFS etc. Eligibility for IAS : Qualification : - You must complete your Graduation Degree(No restriction in Min.Percent) Age limits: - You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. - The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below: upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST. upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's) Attempts : - If you belong to the “Open Category” you can give the exam 4 times maximum. - If you belong to the “OBC” you can give the exam 7 times. - If you belong to the “SC/ST” you can give the exam as many times as you want. There is no restriction on the number of times. The “Preliminary Examination” is usually held in May / June and the “Main Examination” in October / November of the same year. With Regards |

Minimum Qualification for I.P.S. :- 1. Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree of any recognized university. However candidates studying in final year examination may apply for Preliminary. When he applies for Main Examination, he shall be a Graduate. 2. Age Limit: Minimum Age: 21 as on 1st August during which they will write Exam. Maximum Age: 30 for OC, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC. 3.
