NET : Stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST, Is conducted by UGC twice a year one in June and other in the month of December for selection of lectureship and awarded to JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). The candidate having post graduation degree in any stream with 55% marks from a recognized university not bellow the age of 19 years, is eligible to apply for NET.There is no upper age bar for those applying for lectureship and those applying for JRF should not be more than 28 years. The notification for June NET exam has already been announced, the submission of from for NET has been started from 29-03-2012 till 25-04-2012. one should have to score a min of 55% marks in their posts graduation course in order to eligible for this exam. The important dates for NET June 2012 exam is as : # Application submission end date : Monday April 30, 2012 # Last date for receiving the documents : Monday , May 07 , 2012 # Examination date : Sunday , June, 24 , 2012 @ BEST OF LUCK @ |

The notification regarding the upcoming National Eligibility Test, which is supposed to be conducted in the month of June, has not been yet published. The exam will be conducted for the award of junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and also for eligibility into Lectureship. One should have to score a min of 55% marks in their post graduation course in order to be eligible for this exam. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for tech candidates of sc/st category. Age limit: there is no upper age limit for the candidate Lectureship. The test is yet to be scheduled and as soon as the University Grant Commission(UGC) schedules the test, the notification will be published on www.ugcnetonline.in. The website mentioned above is to be referred to apply online for the National Eligibility Test. Candidates who have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree program (50% for SC/ST) are only considered eligible for the test.
