Re: How to become an IAS officer after completing B.Com with 66%

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil service Exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

So as you are a B.Com. Graduate, you are eligible to apply for Civil Service Exam. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks criteria for this exam.

The selection is through two stages of written exam followed by Personal Interview.

The eligible candidate applying for Civil Service Exam is called for a Preliminary Exam also called as CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test).

The candidate selected out of CSAT exam, is called for the Civil Service Main Exam and the final selection is through Personal Interview out of the candidate selected through Main Exam.
