Father is promted as Class 1 officer at the age of 56 years from the cadre of Group C i.e First Division Assistant(FDA) now his income on salary basis is Rs 5lakhs 86 thousand per year income limit is to get 2A certificate is at Rs 6 lakhs so is the official admissible to get 2A certificate validity for the job purpose in government of Karnataka. |

Hello What you said is correct and if your salary is more than 2 lakh p.a, then you are not under the reservation quota of OBC. It is called as creamy layer of OBC. On the other hand, if you are less than the above mentioned income, then you will be categorized under the non-creamy layer, which have its own concessions in the central jobs and its reservations.
